mp3player not working
Hi, I'm running the latest Asterisk (built last Saturday) and can't get mp3's to playback on my handsets (this includes music on hold). I setup a couple of extensions, 901 and 902 to playback an mp3 I loaded on, and the sample moh that is included with Asterisk. When I attempt to call either extension I don't hear any sound, and the following displays on the console:

bri-stuff.0.1.0-RC2k + hfc card: dropouts on IAX2 & MP3Player quits on streams
Hi there, I am using bri-stuff.0.1.0-RC2k and it seems that things didn't become better. I have got lots of dropouts on the IAX2 link (no matter if jitter buffers are enabled). Further the MP3Player application does not playback streams like http://somestreamserver/somestream. It stops saying: -- Executing MP3Player("SIP/27870-ba4f",

MP3Player could not play remote stream
Hi all, I could use MP3Player to play local sound (e.g: /usr/sound/abc.mp3) but I could not use it to run a remote stream, if I use mpg123 in command line, I can hear the audio ( /usr/bin/mpg123 http://...), but the same remote mp3 file could not be replay with asterisk. I would appreciate with any suggestion. Phuong Here are the log message: -- Starting simple switch on 'Zap/3-1'

MP3Player cmd issue
I am running CVS HEAD (on a Linux-PPC machine.) My current dialplan generates an error at the console in asterisk when I attempt to issue the MP3Player command -- I can't figure out why it's not playing the actual audio file? The rest of the dialplan works great. Here's what I see in the console: -- Executing MP3Player("IAX2/income-in-01@IP",

(euro)ISDN: complete silence / can't hear a word.
Hello, I just got my isdn-card working together with i4l and asterisk. Everything seems to be working fine: I can accept calls coming from the outside and I can dial out. Even setting the msn works like charm but my problem is that I cannot hear a word. There's complete silence in both directions. Any idea what could be the cause? Thanks for your help, Gunther Lspci: 0000:01:07.0 Network

* & ISDN-BRI-PTP & DID & ISDN4Linux does not show incoming number
Hi, I am using Asterisk on a DSS1 ISDN-BRI with ISDN4Linux (and a Fritz Card PnP). The ISDN-BRI is in PTP-Mode (Point to Point "german: Anlagenanschluss") which is enabled within I4L with "hisaxctrl fcpcipnp0 7 1". Everything works fine except that I can not see the called number/MSN of incoming calls within Asterisk and because of this I can not route incoming calls

Music on Hold
Does anybody have a good source for hold music? I can see a number of companies on the web that sell royalty-free MOH, but they don't all provide samples. The customer service desk has requested "calming, not sleeping, but calming" and "this is a high-tech company, so make it 'techie' [sic]". Thanks, --Ernest

NetJet Cards
Hello, I am trying to use 2 netjet cards under asterisk and isdn4linux. I am having a hard time trying to get them to work in terms of dial out. Does anyone have a working config I could look at for even one card (tried that, not much luck either). G'day, New to Asterisk alert! I have a Netjet card running on linux 2.4.27 kernel using the HiSax module, and trying to use it for incoming/outgoing calls from *. I've tried playing with modem.conf and extensions.conf every which way I can think of, using samples and whatever I can find off the net, and I get the same message everytime I try to dial in. isdn4linux, NETjet, chan_modem help needed
I'm trying to get a basic Asterisk configuration together for ISDN incoming / outgoing calls. I have two Cisco 7905g phones working (at least talking to each other) and have purchased a NETjet-S PCI ISDN card for routing calls to / from ISDN. The state I've managed to get it to is:- -- Executing Ringing("SIP/PHONE2-d557", "") in new stack -- Executing

Busy message on ISDN cards?
Hi all, I'm new to asterisk and not too knowledgeable on ISDN, so please be gentle :) I have a dual-channel Eicon Diehl Diva card in a Debian Woody box with kernel 2.4.27, connecting to a Telstra (Australia) Onramp Home Highway ISDN line. I'm pretty certain the card and line both work since they've been used in this machine for PPP before this (but with an older kernel with DoV

ISDN problem: lacking dialtone
Hi all, this is a rather "newbie-oriented" question, so please bear with me... The system running Asterisk has been provided with an AVM FRITZ!Card PnP. SuSE Linux 9.0 recognizes it right after booting the system and it seems to be configured (MSN) correctly... The hwinfo looks like this: --- pbx:/etc/asterisk # hwinfo --isapnp 11: ISA(PnP) 01.0: 10300 ISDN Adapter [Created at

ISDN and incoming MSN
I have installed a Billion ISDN card in my Asterisk. Calls between sip and isdn work. The i4l channel has MSN=26. I also put incomingmsn=26,27 in modem.conf. extensions.con: [incoming-isdn] exten => s,1,Dial(SIP/701,20,Ttr) ;will make my extension 701 ring, while exten => 26,1,Dial(SIP/701,20,Ttr) ;will cause an error message in the Cli interface: WARNING[196621]: pbx.c:1814

MusicOnHold and MP3Player not triggering "answer"
Hi I have kind of an odd problem. When dialing in from an outside line via a TE410P card it seems like MusicOnHold and MP3Player doesn't work properly (for me anyway). The remote end which is calling * doesn't hear the music but just keeps ringing. But if I insert a Playback("file_which_dont_exist") just before the Moh or MP3Player I can hear the music. Actually I observed the

Asterisk + NetJet (ISDN4Linux)
Well, it has been a long time since I used my NetJet S cards with asterisk (moved to the quad PRI card) but I am trying to get this working again for home use.
