[PATCH] AIX 4.3.2 compile fixes
Hi all. It's nice to see that AIX support (unintentionally?) is getting better and better. :) Attached is a patch against pre14 that fixes AIX support. All that is left, basically, is a replacement for the /dev/urandom way of getting entropy. ... A completely different thing... how about DCE support? I was thinking of adding some dce code to sshd that: 1. Attaches credentials based on

calculating VAR of a (Gumbel) copula
Hello, I am a new user of R (2.13.1), my operational system is Windows Vista. I have a problem with the attached file SFEVaRHAC.r, calculating the VAR of a Gumbel copula, based on the attached GumHAC_VaR_PL_w250_n1000_s2500.txt 1. I had a Error in file(file, "rt") : cannot open the connection message. I solved it by reading a post in nabble to use setwd(choose.dir()) and

php-5.0.4-0.iva.0.centos4.src.rpm (built for x86_64 and i386) in CentOS Plus
All, Ignacio Vazquez-Abrams has created php-5.0.4-0.iva.0.centos4.src.rpm that works with CentOS-4. After testing this version of php, we have decided to include it in CentOS-Plus for CentOS-4. It is available for i386 and x86_64. There are several files in each distro: x86_64: php-5.0.4-0.iva.0.centos4.x86_64.rpm php-devel-5.0.4-0.iva.0.centos4.x86_64.rpm

New software based on libvirt
Hello, I'm introducing to you the decentralized cloud Cherrypop. Combining libvirt and LizardFS (as of now) it becomes a cloud completely without masters. Thus, any node is sufficient for the cloud to be up and therefore no wasted resources and no single point of failure. It's still pretty crude software but will work with some tinkering. Hope you try it and like it! For more

openssh-1.2pre15 on AIX
Hi. Pre15 compiles out-of-the-box on AIX 4.3.2 ...almost. No patch included this time, but the following were the gotchas: - The __P() prototyping doesn't work (as discussed earlier) - bsd-daemon.o wasn't linked into libssh.a (though configure seemed to detect the need for it) DCE patch will follow shortly. How to bridge two connected calls
Hi everybody. I am in the following scenario: 1 Customer "A" calls an asterisk box over a Zap channel on a toll free number during night time 2 The incoming call enters an AGI script on the dialplan 3 The AGI script plays back a welcome message, then starts the music-on-hold stream 4 The AGI script originates a calls to a stand-by operator's cell phone (operator

[OT] wi-fi ip phone scenario
Hello everyone. I know it's a little bit off-topic, but I was just wondering... Has anyone ever had any experience with asterisk, a wi-fi meshed lan (with more than one access point) and wi-fi sip phones? I made some tests but I'm not really satisfied.... Wi-fi phones are a curse (as far as I know even Nokia eSeries -I personally own an e70 model- have their flaws): - random sip

1.0.beta7
Sorry, the authentication problem still wasn't actually fixed in beta6. Now, this time I tested every possible authentication case that it really works. I'll soon create a CVS branch which is going to stabilize into the 1.0 release. I won't add new features there so it shouldn't really get broken anymore, at least because of new features.. So, two changes in this release:

1.0.beta6 released
Fixes, mostly: * The login and master usernames were reversed when using master_user_separator (now the order is UW-IMAP compatible). * Killing dovecot master process now kills all IMAP and POP3 processes also. + -a parameter to dovecot prints now all settings that Dovecot uses. -n prints all settings that are different from defaults. + Added pop3_lock_session setting + %M modifier

Modem bridging on Asterisk (no VoIP involved)
Hi everybody. I know maybe this question has been posted some time ago, but I need your updated opinion on the subject. I'm replacing our old pbx with asterisk. I have two TE207 dual pri (e1) cards on a clustered system (one on each node). I absolutely need to connect 4/5 analog extensions with modems, they're being used for remote assistance on very old systems which cannot be upgraded
