can be any thing of any length. My custom fact should contain qa, ie I
want to check in the first part(before the first -) of the hostname
if there exists a pattern/word qa and if it exists then my custom

Problem getting quota-warning script to function.
Hello,
Most of the work was done with dovecot 2.2.27 but I just upgraded to

I'm trying to implement quota enforcement in our mailservers, and it is
all working properly except that the quota warnings are not firing when
the quota levels are passed.? the server stops accepting email when the
quota is reached, and you can see tyhe quota usage through the email

How do you distinguish between characters on a pco plot?
I have a presence/absence matrix for which I create a distance matrix and
then perform pco analysis on.
/library(ecodist)
table <- read.table("matrix.pa")
dist <- dist(table, method = "euclidean", diag = FALSE, upper = FALSE)
dist.pco <- pco(dist)/
When I plot the pco analysis of the distance matrix I want to be able to
distinguish between certain characters, for

Compare two distance matrices
Hi all,
I am trying to compare two distance matrices with R. I would like to
create a XY plot of these matrices and do some linear regression on
it. But, I am a bit new to R, so i have a few questions (I searched in
the documentation with no success).
The first problem is loading a distance matrix into R. This matrix is
the output of a the Phylip program Protdist and lookes like this:

How to start R with a file loaded?
Hi!
I've made great progress in my R programming, but I am again stuck on a
beginner's problem.
I would like to start R with a command line that loads a file, and if
possible, executes a function.
Can anyone give me an example of how to do this?
For example, in lisp, I would say:
$ lisp -load toto.lisp -eval '(do-something $PORT)'
to load the file "toto.lisp", then

Finding determinants of x-loaded matrix?
R friends,
I need to find the determinant of this matrix
x 1 0 0
1 x 1 0
0 1 x 1
0 0 1 x
det yields x^4-3x^2+1
I can then use polyroot to find the roots of the coefficients.
The question is about the use of "x", which is what I'm solving for.
thanks in advance, and this is a back-burner question.
Apologies if I have posted this incorrectly/to the wrong place, I'm a newbie

calculating distances using Gower's coefficient on mixed variables.
I want to compute the distances in a mixed variable matrix using the
Gower coefficient. I understand it is possible to calculate distances in
a matrix with mixed variables using the dudi.pco command. How would this
work?

NMDS plot and Adonis (PerMANOVA) of community composition with presence absence and relative intensity
Hi!
Thanks for providing great help in R-related statistics. Now, however I'm
stuck. I'm not a statistics person but I was recommended to use R to perform
a nmds plot and PerMANOVA of my dataset.
Sample(treatment) in the columns and species (OTU) in the rows. I have 4
treatments (Ambient Temperature, Ambient temperature+Low pH, High
temperature, High temperature+low pH), and I have 16

Dear all,
I am trying to get a PERMANOVA with quite large data set. I am reading a lot
about this question, but I do not get the answer about it. Although I know
that the R function is adonis () (vegan package), it does not work:
adonis(Pha.env~SPha, data=Pha, permutations=10)
The error message:

Cluster analysis with missing data
Hi folks,
I tried for the first time hclust. Unfortunately, with missing data in my
data file, it doesn't seem
to work. I found no information about how to consider missing data.
Omission of all missings is not really an option as I would loose to many
cases.
Thanks in advance

simprof test using jaccard distance
Dear All,
I would like to use the simprof function (clustsig package) but the available distances do not include Jaccard distance, which is the most appropriate for pres/abs community data. Here is the core of the function:

method.distance = "euclidean", method.transform =
