recover missing messages - files still present in storage
Hi, I have a user account that had almost 20GB of emails and now they're missing. Only a few are available trough IMAP or doveadm. I can see in /path/to/mailbox/storage that thousands of "m." files are still there, summing up 19GB of files. doveconf -n http://termbin.com/7lgc I have tried: accessing via IMAP accessing via doveadm search/fetch/mailbox status doveadm index doveadm

Host IP address, Crash on startup, Console grabs soundcard - Newbie needs help
I'm an asterisk newbie, so initially tried to install it on a Mandrake 10.1 (see config below) and with a bit of messing about using sample config, have been able to make the test call to device 1000, and also through to the IAX test number at Digium. However, operation is extremely flaky - I cannot reliably startup and use the system on a regular basis. I have several problems listed below

Samba 3.0, fuse-hdfs and write problems
Hi folks, I research at the moment a connection over fuse and samba for hadoop-cluster. Its my private playground, but I have some issues I can't figure out why they happen. I use RHEL5.7, packetlist: rpm -qa|grep samba samba-3.0.33-3.29.el5_7.4.x86_64 samba-common-3.0.33-3.29.el5_7.4.x86_64 2 servers, one provides samba-shares and one I use as client. Samba-Server (HOST2): FuseFS:

A Way to Write DTMF Digits as text to CDR?
I've gotten my CDR working the way I like, but I am looking to customize it a bit. I have set up an IVR menu, which works great. I would like to be able to capture the prompted DTMF digits pressed by callers, to my CDR database but I don't see any AGI or Asterisk commands that allow one to customize the CDR contents. Am I thinking about this on the wrong track? If someone calls sales

DAHDI Error and poor audio quality
Hello Team I have installed the new DL580 and used the new TE420B to add capacity on our ivr. Before I put new E1?s I decided to first move the old e1 from the old system to this new one but it has errors which not only affect the audio quality, but also cause the asterisk to refuse any call after sometime even though the channels seems up and active {seems d-channel fails}.. When processing

(no subject)
Hi, Let me apologize for this simple question. I use 64 bit R on my Fedora Core 6 Linux workstation. A 64 bit R has saved a lot of time. I am sure this is a lot to do with my memory limit, but I cannot import 4.8GB. My workstation has a 8GB RAM, Athlon X2 5600, and 1200W PSU. This PC configuration is the best I could get. I know a bit of C and Perl. Should I use C or Perl to manage this

Unexpected ENOSPC on a SSD-drive after day of uptime, kernel 2.6.32-rc5
I''ve just finished installing onto an OCZ Agilent v2 SSD with btrfs as filesystem. However to my surprise I''ve hit an ENOSPC condition one one of the partitions within less than a day of uptime, while the filesystem on that partition only reported 50% to be in use, which is far from the 75% limit people mention on the ML. Note that this occurs using a vanilla 2.6.32-rc5 kernel

Poor Performance WhenNumber of Files > 1M
Hi all, I plan on having about 100M files totaling about 8.5TiBytes. To see how ext3 would perform with large numbers of files I've written a test program which creates a configurable number of files into a configurable number of directories, reads from those files, lists them and then deletes them. Even up to 1M files ext3 seems to perform well and scale linearly; the time to execute

Server unresponsive until reboot, memory exhausted
I'm having an issue with an apache web server running the latest CentOS5 kernel (this issue is not new to the kernel). After a few days/weeks of running the server will become unresponsive and will require a physical reboot in order to come back online. The system is so unresponsive when the issue occurs that login at console is not even possible. I have atop installed and have looked back

GLM with nested design
Dear list members, I'd like to perform a glm analysis with a hierarchically nested design. In particular, I have one fixed factor ("Land Use Classes") with three levels and a random factor ("quadrat") nested within Land Use Classes with different levels per classes (class artificial = 1 quadrat; class crops = 67 quadrats; and class seminatural = 30 quadrats). I have four

Large file - match process taking days
I've been trying to figure out why some large files are taking a long time to rsync (80GB file). With this file, the match process is taking days. I've added logging to verbose level 4. The output from match.c is at the point where it is writing out the "potential match at" message. In a 9 hour period the match verbiage has changed from: potential match at 14993337175 i=2976

Dear list members, First of all thank you for your helpful advices. Network transfer speed issues in RHEL4
I am in need of some help with a speed issue on a test Red Hat server. The server is running RHEL4 ES Update 4. When copying a file using FTP it transfers at 19GB per hour, but when copying via SMB it transfers at 3-4GB per hour. The network card on the server is Intel 10/100. When copying using samba a simple cp -av command is used. I have tested when this server is part of Active Directory and
