Wine Win16 support in 1.2+ releases
Hi there. Last year I was using Wine 1.2 and 1.3 versions under Linux Mint 11 Katya tyo run an the old Maxis SimFarm. It was able to run but would freeze up after a few hours. Also I noticed there was no sound for the game. I Also ran some Win32 apps, some of which had sound and they had no problems at all. Is the support for Win16 apps not being maintained any more? Currently I am in the middle

Incorrect currentMemory for qemu-1.2+
Hi, Since this message(https://www.redhat.com/archives/libvirt-users/2012-October/msg00054.html) qemu folks have released one minor version in the 1.2 branch and shiny new 1.3 some days ago and the problem still persists. At first I has blamed libvirt, but I was not correct at all - since I have released package ``slices'' for myself including both newer libvirth and qemu, I wasn`t able

[LLVMdev] LLC ARM Backend maintainer
My first ARM testing results or lack of them indicate that 3.0 release requires some some beefy machines to build. It is not so much raw cpu speed but memory and lots of it. My builds got to linking llc and at that point linker started eating megabytes of memory like chocolate. So sadly chumbys, beagleboards, iThingis(?), Raspberry Pis, Gumstix and even inexpensive Tegra2 boards seem to be out of

VMauthenticate always asks for mailbox
I've been trying to use the VMAuthenticate function in 1.2+. This function is supposed to "behave[s] the same way as the Authenticate application, but the passwords are taken from voicemail.conf." The problem is that it always gives the "comedian mail" prompt and requests the mailbox number, even though I provide the mailbox number already. The upshot is that

Deus Ex: Invisible Wars on Steam - Cannot launch
Hi, as some of you may know, there were some issues reported recently about the Steam version of this game not starting. Presumably the solution was to compile wine 1.2+ with a recent version of GCC and binutils, so that the copy protection software could hook certain functions. I've done this, and I've posted some details in the bug tracker ( http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23553).

asterisk-stat display problems
Hey all, having a terrible time with asterisk-stat -- it runs, server is fine, but some of the pages don't display properly/at all --- I think this is a code problem with them, but not sure. I thought everyone loved the asterisk-stat package? See below problems. Any ideas? Areski hasn't replied to me since.... -- Chris ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Earle

Help w/ Asterisk Cisco IP phone and SCCP
I have a new asterisk installation (1.4.2) that is working fine with SIP. Now I'm trying to add 2 cisco ip phones (7960) running SCCP (latest chan_sccp). I have the phones booted, and the tftp directory all setup, etc. But the phones do not quite work right. When I lift the handset I only get a dial-tone 1 out of 5 or so times I try, though hitting the speaker button works. I can dial

nouveau xorg.conf documentation
I'm trying to get started with nouveau. I have it compiled, I have it installed, but I'm having trouble working out the xorg.conf file. My system has 3 video cards; one is a single DVI out, two are dual DVI out. From the messages in the xorg log files, nouveau expects config for DVI-I-0 and DVI-I-1, and so on. Going from the nvidia blob is not as easy as changing nvidia to nouveau;

Delete global variable
Hello, I've got a question to the memory handling of global variables in Asterisk 1.2+. I use e.g. Set(active_${CALLERIDNUM}=1|g) to set a global variable in my dialplan. Later I will use Set(active_${CALLERIDNUM}=|g) to remove my global variable "active_${CALLERIDNUM}". Is the Memory space of variable really free? Or will I rise into a memory problem? Regards Bastian

Correct. But in select operations, you are seeing this. That could be an application-specific setting, including the Window Manager which includes a number

Ferret problems with Rails 1.2.1
Hi, I''ve just updated rails from 1.1.6 to 1.2.1 and I''m getting the following errors whenever I load a page that uses a class that uses ferret. I have ferret 0.10.13 and acts_as_ferret. They were working fine before the upgrade. #<NameError: cannot remove Object::WildcardQuery>

Recaptcha (or other captchas)
Does anyone have any suggestions for a best practice implementation of Recaptcha (or other captchas - if you recommend going another route, I''m all ears)? I''ve found the recaptcha gem and a plugin but I don''t know which is the best implementation, and I haven''t found a thorough tutorial plus example code for either. Thanks -- Posted via

Question about ACL/flags
Okay, I'm cruising the wiki, and it is at best confusing to me. Maybe someone on the list can help me out quickly? Here is what I have: dovecot 1.1.18, mbox format, currently no acl/namespace/etc. All works great. What I want to be able to do: Have an email account (or folder or mailbox) which can be accessed by several people (say 3) with per-user seen flags. That is, say 3 people all

Polycom Buddies in 1.6.6
All, Slightly off topic. Polycom released their SIP software version 1.6.6 for their phones recently. I was under the impression that this release fixed a previous limitation where the phones would only watch 7 buddies, ie send 7 sip subscriptions to Asterisk. I have configured a phone directory to watch 30 or so appearances, and it still seems to only be sending 7 subscriptions to Asterisk.

[GIT PULL] elflink bug fixes
Hi Peter, Please pull the following changes. Paulo, I had to revert your "pxe: resolve names via DNS from protected-mode code" change because dns_resolv() is only implemented for PXELINUX and causes undefined symbol references for ISOLINUX, etc. Feel free to make the change again on top of the revert. The following changes since commit e7bd19def830e8341b1a100956345f1028740b9e:
