Detecting unused accounts
I'm looking for a way to figure out which accounts have not been logged in to in over n days. It occurs to me that, perhaps, the way to do this would be to look at the mtime on one of the dovecot-maintained files, like 'dovecot-uidlist'. Is there a particular file that would be modified on (almost) every login, whether it be via POP or IMAP? -Ben -- Ben Beuchler

Packages for Animal Models & QG analyses
Hi, I am looking to do some quantitative genetic analyses using animal models and was wondering if someone could suggest an appropriate package in R. It would help if it was similar to the ASReml genetic analyses software. Using volumes during fix-layout after add/remove-brick
Hello All- I regularly increase the size of volumes using "add-brick" followed by "rebalance VOLNAME fix-layout". I usually allow normal use of an expanded volume (i.e reading and writing files) to continue while "fix-layout" is taking place, and I have not experienced any apparent problems as a result. The documentation does not say that volumes cannot be used

[LLVMdev] LLVM / C--
>Neither C-- nor LLVM provide this.  Why do you need a GLR parser >specifically? http://www.cs.berkeley.edu/~smcpeak/elkhound/ Parsing with arbitrary context-free grammars has two key advantages: (1) unbounded lookahead, and (2) support for ambiguous grammars. Unbounded lookahead is achieved by allowing multiple potential parses to coexist for as long as necessary. Similarly, ambiguity

Sprint Nextel sueing over VoIP patents
Sprint Nextel is sueing vonage, voiceglo and theglobe.com for infringing on VoIP patents. Sprint Nextel claims to have about 100 patents on VoIP technologies. Does anyone know which ones this article is talking about, and if so does asterisk have any of those features? The reason I am asking is that the article is vague, Vonage uses a fairly standard codec set, I dont know about the others.

Enable outlook-idle workaround.
I just recently discovered dovecot. I am evaluating the program and several clients uses Outlook/Outlook Express. In the clients issues section of dovecot.org is says "You should enable outlook-idle workaround" Ok, maybe I am missing something very obvious here but I can not find any documentation on how to implement the outlook-idle workaround. Can anyone point me to an article

create sequences from two "from" and "to" vectors
hi all, how can I create sequences that start from a known vector, say x1 and end with another say x2- also suppose all the sequences will be the same length. I don't want to use a for loop x1<-c(1,2,3,4); x2<-(3,4,5,6); what I want is 1 2 3 4 2 3 4 5 3 4 5 6 Thanks ----- Yasir H. Kaheil Columbia University -- View this message in context:

Searchable List Archives?
I'd like to be able to search the list archives when I'm reading someone's message to put what they say in context based on what they've said, and what others have said in conversation with them, in the past. It would help me figure out whether to trust some submitters on some issues, and just learn more from the community's collective/cumulative research and discussion. Is

Dovecot and fcntl errors
Hello, I am new to the list and after searching the net for a solution to this problem, I have yet to find it. Maybe someone here can help. I had been using Dovecot that came with FC2 for about 1200 POP3 and IMAP mail accounts. At random times (1-5 days) an imap process would run the cpu usage up to 99% on one of my cpus (Running SMP P3-866) and hang. That process was unkillable and only a reboot

timeout when retrieving folder list w/ Evolution 2.0?
hi, i have a problem with some maildir folders, where Evolution times out when retrieving the header list. It only happens with one particular folder, but i can't seem to find a pattern behind it. The amount of headers it does manage to retrieve varies, from between 3% to 50%. Its not a particularly large folder either (only 520 messages). The error message I get from Evolution is

escaping quotes for generating xml
Hi, I need to have my controller return xml from db content. Is there a method I can call to clean up the text for xml rendering? I tried CGI:escapeHTML, but forgot it would ignore quotes. some of the db content is going in xml attributes so the quotes need escaping. thanks. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
