Extrcat selected rows from a list
Hi, I have two lists 1) List1- 30,000 rows and 104 columns 2) List2- a list of 14000 selected rownames  from List 1 Now, I want to extract all the 104 columns of List1  matching with the 14000 selected rownames from List2.  Psedocode will be something like this: match rownames(List2) with rownames(List1) extract selected matched 104 coloumns from (List1) strore in-> List3 So the

Extracting selected rows from a matrix
Hi, I have matrix of 104 columns and 30000 rows (Each Row has rowname). I have 13 different  list of selected rownames (character) say 1000 each. Now I want to extract the all the columns according to the rownames in each the list. How can I do that in R ? 1 ) For a single list 2) For all the 13 list at a time  Regards, Pankaj Barah Department of Biology,  Norwegian University of

Use of nesting in lmer- error in numerical expression
Dear R users, I am trying to fit a GLMM using lmer to a dataset where the brood identity (LNRREIR) is nested within mothers identity. The reason for this is that each mother can have several nests within each year and also between years. I am running the following script (actually I have tried all different combinations with LNRREIR and mother): mod <- lmer(sr~z.hatchday +

Which CDR processing for high load ?
Hello, I'm load testing a new Asterisk 13 system (Debian Stretch, packaged asterisk). One system writes CDR though an ODBC connection to a local Postgres database over the LAN. When sending 50 new calls per second with SIPp, I'm seeing one system outputs : taskprocessor.c: The 'subm:cdr_engine-00000003' task processor queue reached 5000 scheduled tasks again. glmer or not - glmer model specification
Hello, I'm having some trouble figuring out the correct model specification for my data. The system consists of multiple populations of an organism, which have been genetically sampled for several years. The problem is this: A minority of individuals are found in more than one sample, either they have survived into the next sampling at the same location, or have migrated to another another

[LLVMdev] Remove redundant code after frame index elimination
Hi list, I added custom code to eliminate frame index references. I replace each FI reference with a subtraction from my frame pointer register (just like ebp in x86). Its result is stored in another register which is used by the load/store instructions. Nevertheless, this operation gives me redundant subs that I would like to remove after all fi references have been eliminated. For example:

Problem plotting continuous and discrete series in ggplot with facet
I have data that plots over time with four different variables. I would like to combine them in one plot using facet_grid, where each variable gets its own sub-plot. The following code resembles my data require(ggplot2) require(reshape2) subm <- melt(economics, id='date', c('psavert','uempmed','unemploy')) mcsm <- melt(data.frame(date=economics$date,

Issue with Asterisk 13, multiple CDR per queue and arbitrary upper limit
Hi, I`ve recently upgraded a server from 1.8 to Asterisk 13. While everything is under control, I have one issue with the way CDRs are kept for queues. And I don`t mean ?I don`t like it?. I mean it crashes the server. I realize there are multiple CDRs per queue call ? one per ring/per phone, basically. The issue is that whenever the number of CDRs ?to be recorded? for a call exceeds 5000,

Automatic selection pf printers
Hi List, We have a large (6500 desktops) network distributed over a few dozen sites. The clients are (almost) all Windows95 and WinXP. We currently use Netware as our network operating system, and are looking at the possibility of moving to (Samba on) Linux to provide file and print services. One of the nice things about Novell NDS is that you can specify printers that are available to

That's a good thought. I'm building from the alpine repo and I indeed see pigeonhole is 0.5.5 https://git.alpinelinux.org/aports/tree/main/dovecot/APKBUILD?h=3.8-stable Let me build it with 0.5.7.2 Regards, ? Samba <--> AD password sync
Dear Sirs, I want to duplicate users from samba to AD. One-to-one convertion, nothing complicated. The problem is: password synchronization. AD allows LDAP connection and there is even special attribute for storing password (unicodePwd), that attribute cannot be read, but can be written under some circumstances: http://www.jsiinc.com/SUBM/tip6000/rh6088.htm I cannot figure out what to do,

Dear All, I'am looking for examples showing that correlation does not imply causality, the targeted audience consists of undergraduate students (their first year at the university but in the BioMathStat track). This kind of weirdness can happen when Pigeonhole was compiled against a different version of Dovecot. You could compile Pigeonhole manually as well to make sure, which also gives you the opportunity to

No reiserfs support after kernel-update
Hi Folks, I'm using CentOS 4.3 on my desktop. All works well - until today. On my machine are also other 'nixe like Kubuntu with reiserfs - filesystem. Before update no problems with this partitions. But after the update from today(kernel 2.6.9-42.0.2.EL) I get a message "no support for reiserfs is in the current kernel" and mounting these partitons are impossible. Why ???
