AEC in live performance
Hi,
I plan to use AEC for a live performance, storytelling for very young
children (and their parents!) in a mongolian yourte . Actually the
storyteller can make vocal loops, there is an omnidirectional microphone
in the center of the yourte, 5 loudspeakers in a circle along the
yourte's wall and Pure Data in a linux box. And now she wants to make
vocal loops over music and loops over loops... Maybe aec will help he...

POSIX to ts and back to POSIX
I am trying to use POSIX datetime objects rather than chron datetime
objects but am having difficulty with POSIX in a time series. My
question: Once a POSIXct vector is bound to a time series, is there a
function to convert back to POSIXct? The following code demonstrates
what I am trying to do.

winbindd ?'s
Am I correct in my understanding that with winbindd (and PAM), I am able to
authenticate PAM aware apps against an NT 4 domain with no passwd entries?
If so, how would one get ssh working with this? I've followed the winbindd
how-to and haven't been able to ssh into the box with winbindd using an
account that only resides in the domain (i.e. isn't in the passwd file).
