I expect the creation of Maildir/.new_subfolder
This doesn't fit to the client configs and if I move the existing

I enabled mail_debug and the expansion looks ok for me:

exten => 112,hint,SIP/112

The hints seem to be working, however why is it looking for a hint for "s" -
should I define one?

File copying under WIN98
with the Samba3.0.12 release i encountered the following problem :
when i try to copy a file from a samba share to the local disk then the
process hangs with the windows-message
"Preparing to copy" (my translation from the german message).
In a WIN98-DOS-Windows the copy command hangs too, but the file is created.
The copying from my WIN-XP HOME works.

AW: samba on win2k
If you haven't deactivated password encryption on win2k (by changing the registry) you should make sure that "encrypt passwords = Yes" is set in your smb.conf.

Java and compiz
Hi,
I know this is know thing about the java windows being blank. I
also kinda guess that it is not a priority to get it fixed to a lot of
you ppl. So, I'm here to help! :) It's really pain to be using Xnest and
all those to work with java-swing development, and I'd like to see this
fixed.
There was nothing of this in the archives, so whats the plan?

adding XCB dependency
I intend to make compiz depend on XCB and Xlib/XCB sometime soon so we
can start using XCB where it's beneficial [1]. I'm mostly interested in
using it for asynchronous reading of window properties but we should
eventually try to use it for as much as possible. Removing Xlib
completely might not make sense as we need to support multiple
implementations of GLX but getting to a stage where

General compiz questions
.... Yes, it's worth it. Just my two cents.
Footnotes:
[1] Yes, compiz is pluggable but the integration of both WM and CM
qualifies as being monolithic, IMHO.
[2] I know there are some third-party tools for configuring compiz and
I've tried them and none really appealed to me.

Patchs criterias
Greetings everyone!
During the 5 months since Compiz was released lots of work has been
done outside of the official team by the new Compiz community in order
to improve Compiz's features and usability. These unofficial
developers are mainly using the compiz.net boards, #xgl or #compiz-dev
IRC channels on Freenode to get in touch, discuss ideas, features,
patches and bugs... Most patches

Samba 3.0.28a and win 98 no access on shares, no domain login
I've migrated from Ubuntu 6.10 to Ubuntu 8.04 (samba 3.0.28a), using the same smb.conf and the same smbpasswd. But i can't connect to the Ubuntu/Samba server (PDC) with win 98-clients anymore. Win2K Clients still working with no problems, but the 98ers can't log on the domain nor can access any shares.
The user and passwd ist the same as the win2k-clients.
