E1 card for Asterisk
Hello Folks,
I'm trying to decide here between a few cards for connecting an Asterisk box to a
single E1 channel (either PRI or R2 signaling):
- Digium E100P: has been replaced by the TE110P below, but can still be had at
places like digitnetworks.com for $475, and I guess there's always a place for
good-olde-obsolete cards in the world as long as they work :-)
- Digium TE110P:

trouble wtih webstore schema, handling product variations
Hi Railers,
Does anyone have any guidance on setting up a simple way to handle
product variations (e.g garment size/color)? Initially, I had thought
that I would make a variation model which defined the extra bits, but it
seems quite inflexible especially so if a store were to sell
non-clothing items that also had variants of one flavor or another.

SSL certificate and rails...
Newbie Q:
Building a webstore and need to have SLL-encryption on the checkout
pages...
I have no previous experience with SSL.
I understand that I need a SSL-certificate. I''m planning on purchasing
the cert from RapidSSL, but to do that I need to generate a CSR
(Certificate Signing Request). How do I do that?
How do I install the certificate on the server? Are there any guides on

RedFone foneBRIDGE2 2e1 - anyone used it or another TDMoE bridge?
I've been asked to look at deploying Asterisk in a high availability
environment and I've been looking so I've been searching for methods to
decouple the voice PRI circuits from the Asterisk server so failover to
another server could take place.
I've been looking at the RedFone foneBRIDGE2 2e1 product here:

SSH over websockets
Hi all,
I can't find a working archive search for this list, so please forgive me
if this has been discussed before.
Has any thought been given to supporting websockets in the ssh client? I'm
talking about solely using a websocket as the transport layer, and leaving
the actual protocol intact, as opposed to the (to me, frankly terrifying)
idea of allowing a web server to act as an ssh

That's a ssh client implemented in chromium, not a web server acting as
sshd. However...
?Secure Shell also knows how to connect to an HTTP-to-ssh relay that was
built inside Google. Unfortunately
that relay isn't open source,

IIS Change Notifications
Good afternoon all,
I'm a web developer (c#) who also manages a small hosting environment.
Roughly, our configuration is:
Two IIS7 (Windows Server 2008 Web) servers which share configuration data
and site files from a SMB share located on a ubuntu server.
The ubuntu server is currently running 3.0.28a which is quite old, but read
on.
We've been having a problem with the change

Chrome extension for tracking LLVM code review
I'd be interested in using this but I have to wait until someone ports
this to firefox (or at least chromium).
Thanks for sharing it though!

Icecast 420Radio error
Icecast,
We have been using your service for several years and recently noticed the
connection link has not been working. It has been about two weeks now.
Our connection is:
http://listen.djcmedia.com/420radiohigh
http://listen.djcmedia.com/420radiolow
The current song rotation shows up on TuneIn, or other systems, but does
not play.

Newbie .. authorize.net
I am very new to RoR. I need to do:
1. credit card authorization only
and / or
2. charge the credit card
via the Authorize.net payment gateway via RoR?
QUESTION 1.
I came across the payment module available as a ruby gem. I am wondering
if anyone has used this gem in a real life application to do the above?
The other problem was that on this page:

RedFone foneBRIDGE2 2e1 - anyone used it oranother TDMoE bridge?
For high-availability Asterisk when using PRI Lines, you might also want
to check out our product (FSV-4PFS). It's available at

Also to add to the last post does this device have hardware echo cancelation?
if it does it could be a great replacement, if not may not be what I'd
really want to use.
Thanks,

Rich text aera?
Hi all,
I am trying to add an article editing interface to my future webstore,
and I am wondering what to use for text formatting.
I would like to avoid using HTML, and calibre-bbcode just won''t work
(see my last post).
Is there some kind of library for live text formatting right in the
browser? I would just need bold, italics, size and ul lists... Do you
know of a good solution?

Failover Device?
First,
Something seems to be wrong with the list. I'm not the only person
who has expressed seeing their messages either arrive late, or not at
all.
With that out of the way..
Is anyone aware of any type of failover device for PRI on asterisk?
I've found the ISDNGuard, however it is currently not made in the
U.S., nor does it run on U.S. power.
Is anyone aware of a device that will

Sangoma FXO EC vs Rhino FXO EC
Hi all, I am a huge fan of Sangoma cards after having many problems with
digium cards and then switching to sangoma cards and them giving me
excellent support with excellent results.
That being said, they are also alot more money than the Rhino cards and
my friend currently has 1 digium 4 fxo card in their system and they
need to add another phone line, plus they have echo problems and quality
