R was installed in C / Program Files (x86) / R - R-2.11.1 Then - through the menue - I went to Update packages, chose the mirror and R detected the few packages that needed to be updated. I work in a US government office, where regular computer users are not allowed Admin access to their computers, and all software must go through an extensive evaluation to be approved for installation and use. Several of us in my office would greatly benefit from R, so I'd like to request that it go through the approval process. Does anyone out there have any experience or advice to share?

Hello, I have a question on the support of the R 2.6 software. We are in the process of planning for a hardware refresh and our new machines will be running Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 8. My question is if the R 2.6 software would be supported on a system running Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 8? Also, are you aware of any customers having issues with Windows 7 and/or Internet
