On Dells running CentOS 6, we could use this command ipmitool delloem lcd set mode userdefined "$(uname -n | sed -e 's/\..*//' )" to set the little LCD screen to display the system name, In the latest sevens, it fails, and gives me usage for the command... which displays exactly that syntax. ...y_ new to Xen and just started playing with it a couple days ago. So far, mostly so good. I am confused by VM migration though. I have a couple of installs I downloaded from stacklet and when using those, I can move a running VM from server to server. However, if I import an OVA VM I created in VirutalBox, I cannot move the VM without shutting it down. Is this a PV vs. HVM issue? Thanks! I made some simple comparisons about CPU usages between running Wine and running XP on a VirtualBox. In both cases, I ran exactly the same 2 applications with about the same configuration.
