Can we get a copy of ks.cfg for varous images into /root/ks.cfg?
I've recently been dealing with various CentOS images on AWS, and am being forcibly reminded that the "/root/anaconda-ks.cfg" has only a passing resemblance to whatever the kickstart configuration file actually contained. But getting a copy of the actual "ks.cfg" is invaluable for updating and testing variations of the kickstart setup, especially when manipulating disk

R web site-Useability & finding varous bits of documentation
I was starting to write a note to a prospective R-user and came to the point of explaining how to get useful introductory information on R. After mentioning the Into and the FAQs I went on to try to explain how to use a lot of the contributed information. However I realised that there seems to be no direct way to get to Other Publications or Contributed Documenation. The best I have seen is

Re tain current graphs in figure
I want to know, how do I retain the current plot and axes properties such that subsequent graphing commands add to the existing graph. Thank you very much!! -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Retain-current-graphs-in-figure-tp25606069p25606069.html Sent from the R help mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Samba autofs autoumount problem with C$, D$, etc refusing to unmount
...s such as \\windowsbox\C$ as /mnt/cifs/windowsbox/C$, the automounter can become confused by the $. The result is that "mount" and "df" report things like "/mnt/cifs/windowsbox/C$$$$" as being mounted, but they're not there, and life gets very cofusing. This drives varous reporting of disk usage insane. Rebooting clears it, but that sucks to do. I have to assume it's a problem with how autofs parsing of the "/mnt/cifs/windowsbox/C$" and logging it as "/mnt/cifs/windowsbox/C$$$$$" and similar even longer names, and then it can't be unmoun...

python problem
Question for the list: I have a small, aircooled pc server, which is running fine, but the log gets filled with a series of messages saying the package, and each of 8 cpus is throttled because of thermal issues. Then, within the same second according to the timestamps, it reports everything is OK and throttling is off. This happens once every minute. In reality, when I try performance

AGREP
Hi all, I have two questions 1 - I have the version 1.4.1 of R, and it doesn't have the 'agrep' function in the base library. Is there a way to make this funcion avaliable in R 1.4.1? I mean, how to 'copy' it from R 1.8.1 and 'paste' it in R 1.4.1? 2 - The AGREP function doesn't give me the Levenshtein distance (edit distance). Is there a function in R that does
