Hello, When I run portupgrade -ra and PHP needs upgrading I am faced with having to select all the options I want PHP compiled with (again). I hate this. How can I continually compile PHP with the same options as the last time? Thanks! Rick

Hi all, I just built a new Compuke proliant 5000 using the 4.8 CD and I would like to cvsup and build a 4.8 STABLE system but I have been loosely following the list for a couple weeks and noticing a LOT of problems lately... Hi, I have a Compuke Proliant 5000 I would really like to use FreeBSD on When I boot to CD or floppies using 5.1 I get all the way to: "/stand/sysinstall running as init on vty0" but the machine then locks up hard. When I boot to CD or floppies using 4.8 I get nothing. The machine won't boot to a 4.8 CD (that works in another machine) Any ideas on what to try next? TIA Rick

Hi, I have been having a fairly serious problem with an HP Netserver LH3 that seems to hang for no apparent reason. This happens when the machine is under load and it also happens when it is simply idle. When this "hang" occurs I can no longer SSH to the box. I can ping it and port scan it and it appears to be "alive" but it won't load web pages or process mail
