Anyone have experience getting Poser 7 to work?
...tp://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=7598&iTestingId=21329), it should pretty much just work out of the box, but that was with wine 0.9.55, whereas I'm on 59.
Has anyone encountered this? It might be a regression, but then, I'm enough of a n00b not to have the tribal knowledge necessary to make this work correctly.
I'm running Ubuntu Gutsy 7.10 (64-bit) on a new laptop. The only winecfg changes I've made are to enable desktop emulation and disable letting the window manager control things.
thanks!

[LLVMdev] [RFC] Developer Policy for LLVM C API
Wow, this went of topic very quickly ;-)
As you know I am very interested in an stable API (C and/or C++) for LLVM, but maybe we should discuss this in a separate thread. Designing a good stable API from scratch will take some time and until that point I want to document our current “tribal knowledge”. I will post a patch as you suggested.

[LLVMdev] Interpreting stack maps for purposes of precise GC
..., for instance. This obviously causes the tracing
phase of the GC to wander off into random bits of memory and (usually)
crash shortly thereafter.
Unfortunately it seems like there is painfully little documentation on how
the stack maps work or are meant to be used, so I was hoping to dig up some
tribal knowledge from the list.
My strategy for interpreting the maps currently looks like this:
if (stack offset <= 0)
pointer to root = start of current stack frame + offset
else
pointer to root = end of the stack frame "above" current stack frame +
offset + size of frame pointer +...

[LLVMdev] [3.7 Release] We have branched
Hi all,
The 3.7 release branch was created from trunk at r242221 today (around
10:40 pm UTC).
Branch policy:
- Any doc changes can go in. Updates to the release notes are highly
encouraged, and should be committed directly to the branch.
- All other patches should be approved by the release manager (me) and
the appropriate code owner. To get a change merged, commit it to
trunk, and then reply

[LLVMdev] [RFC] Developer Policy for LLVM C API
Hi @ll,
a few of us had recently a discussion about how to manage the C API and possible policies regarding addition, maintenance, deprecation, and removal of API.
Even thought there is a strong agreement in the community that we shouldn't break released C API and should be backwards compatible, there doesn’t seem to be a developer policy that backs that up. This is something we should fix.
