How to watch satellite tv shows on you pc with 3 method
...commend: TBS6981-DVB-S2 PCI -E TV Card (http://www.buydvb.net/tbs6981-pcie-dvbs2-dual-tuner-tv-card_p11.html). [Image: http://www.buydvb.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/tbs6981.jpg ] With it, user can simultaneously receive dual DVB-S2/S TV channels, this enables the user to watch one channel from one transponder/satellite while recording another channel from a second transponder/satellite. Alternatively the user can use one channel for data download while watching TV on another channel at the same time. TBS series products are fully supported under 32bit/64bit Windows 2000 / XP / Vista / 7 and Linux. The...

IAX2 trunk mode over satellite
...ly-managed satellite segment. However, the IP overhead really starts to cost significant amounts of pennies when you add it up on multiple SIP RTP sessions over the same link. Plus, packet contention and buffering may (_may_) be an issue when pushing multiple simultaneous streams out the same transponder. It would seem to me that IAX2 in trunk mode would be optimal for people on very expensive satellite bandwidth, as a G.729 9.6kbps channel starts to actually look like 9.6kbps instead of 24kbps. However, I have had mixed success with IAX2 in certain circumstances. Before I start to ask for f...

streaming: some idea's
...others) - Contain information on what audio-stream(s) is/are couples to what video-stream. - And what 'CA' (Conditional Access) system is used for a certain stream. - But, it also adds the notion of 'bouquets': groups of programs that are bundled together, and that can span multiple transponders on a satellite or on multiple satellites (at the same satellite-position or a different). Perhaps, it would be good idea to see if a meta-stream is possible/desirable for vorbis, and what we can put in it. I would propose to make it as open as possible. Possible information to put in it could...

Krad Pipe
I wrote a bent pipe program for relaying Icecast / KR streams. Its the simplest minimal program possible at 300 lines~, and there is no dependencies. Its an extraction from Krad Transponder, I pulled this out into a little command line program as I thought it might be immediately useful. https://gist.github.com/oneman/5074107 krad_pipe [from_host] [from_port] [from_mount] [to_host] [to_port] [to_mount] [to_password] *If either side gets disconnected the program exits, so for a co...

Is there any good tool for Hanling Data on the Net
...I'm using excel, but there are plenty of limetations on this program e.g. im working with svm's and I need a lot more colums for my data. Because of this the handling of my data is very time intensive and I'm now looking for a simple program witch can handle my data (read data, ad data, transpond data etc.) Thanx Andreas

ogg123 and Vorbis piped to stdin
Moin, Two questions I have. Actually, the first isn't so much a question. It seems that `ogg123' is not able to play streams from stdin, at least not for me on FreeBSD. It also seems that with the patches way down below, it can play from stdin for me -- I handle stdin like http-transport and return the same values for seeking and the like, to avoid calls that fail, and so it works,

Remove :js responder
https://github.com/rails/rails/issues/12374#issuecomment-29446761 Here in discussion I proposed to deprecate JS responder because this technique is insecure and not pragmatic way to transfer data. It can be exploited in this way http://homakov.blogspot.com/2013/05/do-not-use-rjs-like-techniques.html i find this bug very often so i know what i''m talking about. With it attacker can
