I've been playing a bit with the "noexec" flag for filesystems. It
can represent a substantial obstacle against the exploitation of
security holes.
However, I think it's not perfect yet.
First thing, an attempt to execute a program from a noexec-mounted
filesystem should be logged. It is either a very significant security
event, or it can drive nuts an

Samba & ads authentification
Hi,
I try to configure a samba server w/ authentification
against a Wk3 ADS controler. I think that I resolve
many problems but at this time it doesnt work at all.
When I try to acces a share on the ADS server: no
problem
(on the linux client I tpe this commands:
kinit administrator -> it ask for password and ok
smbclient -k \\server\share --> OK
)
Then when i try to access the share on the linux box
from the w2k3 controler, I always have a wonderful
banner :"enter username and password". I can try all
username and password.....

[PATCH INCOMPLETE] Rewrite virt-make-fs in C (originally Perl).
I thought it would be easy to rewrite virt-make-fs in C.
Two days later ...
The Perl program uses a lot of external commands, which makes
it pretty tedious to implement in C.
