well, i've done make and make install. the option <nt acl support> is availible,
but it does not work. local acl works!

smbpasswd with a postscript error
...ime when i type "smbpasswd" with or not
options it return me an message like this:
WARNING: The "postscript"option is deprecated:
which postscript option is mean? smbpasswd works, but it nerves.

[v3.0.4] can not set SSID
Hi,
I have run a FileServer with Samba 2.2.8a and want to upgrade to 3.0.4. I
had successfully compile and build the new version and the most of all
works fine.
Now i want to set my old SID to the new System how is described in this
mail (http://lists.samba.org/archive/samba/2003-June/068765.html), that
not all clients have to reinclude to the domain, but it does not work.

what future do hav Samba for VMS, there is an old Beta Version avaiable
since 1999, is there nobody working on new port of 2.2 or 3.0 ??
