I am using Tinn-R 2.3.2.3 and R 2.10.0 on a windows vista [64bit] machine.
When I activate R from Tinn-R I get the following warning message:

Please re-install it
However, when I attempt to install it I receive the following:

I found a similar problem for svMisc a few weeks ago
(http://www.mail-archive.com/r-help at r-project.org/msg74057.html).
Will there be a new svIO-package the next weeks or is it included anywhere

Thanks for your help,

R Reporting - PDF/HTML mature presentation quality package?
...morning. Had I not been able to do this, I
probably would have been told, "You'll have to use SPSS."
I was so impressed by R2HTML that I began writing a primitive HTML
generator that will scan an R script and do something like R2HTML. I
couldn't find anything like this as the svMisc package seems to have
disappeared. If anyone knows of something like this or is working on it,
I'd appreciate knowing about it.

dealing with package bundles (was RE: Gregmisc)
Given the confusions that some users have regarding package bundles, I'd
like to suggest some changes to how package bundles are handled.
My understanding is that a package bundle is essentially a convenient way to
distribute related packages, so that users can download/install them in one
shot. However, some users apparently get confused that one can do
install.packages("abundle")

Show Progress in loop
Hi
I have a loop which is doing time consuming calculations and I would
like to be able to have some feedback on where it is in it's
calculations. I tried to simply show the counter variable in the loop,
but id doesn't work as all display seems to be delayed until the loop is
completed. Is there any way of displaying the progress of a loop?

Help with Scviews
Dear all
I would appreciate it if someone could help me to install Scviews.
1) I am running Windows XP Service Pack 3 with 1Gb of memory and 120GB HDrive.
2) R is installed and runs fine
RCommander is installed and seems to run reasonably well. Some issues where it 'bombs' out for no reason.
3) I cannot run (install.packages:"Scviews") from any CRAN site.

Simulation Progress
Hi,
I've made a function that executes a monte-carlo simulation.
It always needs a lot of time until e.g. 1Mio simulation steps are done.
So I would like to know, how many percent of the work is already done.
In an Excel/VBA Solution I could easily implement a status bar or status
window.
How could an R-Solution look like?

tcltk window freezes when using locator( )
Hello useRs
Using the following code:
library(tcltk)
win<-tktoplevel()

print(pol)
}
button<-tkbutton(win,text="test",command=ff)
tkpack(button)
makes the win panel stop responding when the plot is closed before choosing a location. Usually, the windows task manager
has to be used to
