E4 Superframe E&M?
I need to create a couple of tie lines between a legacy system and an Asterisk system. I was told that the tie lines are E4 Superframe E&M. I have done E&M wink but have no idea about E4 Superframe E&M and Google is not helping me here. Does anyone know about this type of signaling and if Asterisk can handle it? Thanks, Steve

need working loopstart config - t100p
I am connecting a t100p to a b8zs, superframe, loopstart t1. Previously I've attached to e&m wink and pri lines with no problems; however I seem to be missing something. Should it be fxols in the zaptel.conf (smartjack to x100p) or fxsls? With e&m wink the dnis set was 100, so it was easy to make an extension 100; and it would an...

T1 config for robbed-bit E&M AMI
I have a couple of live T1s sitting around and they are not ISDN(like most of the people that are using Asterisk seem to be using), they are regular old 24 channel, robbed-bit, E&M wink start, D4AMI T1 circuits. Can I get these T1s to work with a T100P Digium card and asterisk? Searching through the lists and the documentation I haven't seen any examples of how to configure this kind

New T1 Asterisk installation
Hi List, I need to change my provider, at this time Asterisk box is on VOIP trunk. I have two options, T1 or 15 analog lines. I have some experience with analog and I have had two main issues with it. first is echo (I have not tried HPEC yet) and second unpredictable volume. The question is, if I use TE100 with PRI , will I have same issues? I would appreciate any comments and sample zaptel.conf

ISDN config: LBO values
Hi all, When configuring Asterisk with an ISDN card, it will at one point become necessary to select the LBO (Line Build-Out) value. This is an integer (0-7) that is determined by the length of the cable and is selected from the following table. Many of us are familiar with it: CSU (dB) DSX-1 (feet) ------------------------------- 0 0 0?133 1

Configuring TDM400 in Australia
Hi, all I have installed TDM400 with 1 FXS and 1 FXP ports. Now I am goig through documentation on how to configure it. It mentions 3 protocols: Loopstart, Groundstart and Koolstart. Which one do I use? Can someone send me sample zaptel.conf file for Australia? This will save me some time and will be used as a working example. Thanks, Rudolf
