How to tell spicy client to use SASL authentication?
...oup sense=allow file=/etc/libvirt/allow_group account required pam_nologin.so account required pam_unix.so They are two identical configs for libvirt and for qemu. The first works flawlessly. virsh prompts for user and password and then login me to the shell. But spicy fails. It prompts only for the password and fails after receiving it leaving error message in syslog: Oct 13 23:24:21 paladin spicy[9001]: GSSAPI client step 1 What are the supposed actions I should perform to get further debug informations?

Spicy stuff on web development
Hi all, The link contains a stingy article on AJAX and other somewhat browser dependant stuff. http://techrepublic.com.com/5254-6257-0.html?forumID=99&threadID=184332&messageID=1963135&id=2926438 Being a webdev myself and also a diehard perfectionist, I could relate to some of it. Let me state that the article does NOT represent my opinion, nor is it to fire up a discussion!! It

Purpose of Epoch Trackers
.... I think there may be an thread race condition. I don't know which is the root cause of this error because the assertion not explicitly occurs in my code, it occurs in the library code which I'm using in my threads. Assertion I'm getting is this: Global Value is CRO: /home/preejackie/spicy/orcs/llvm/include/llvm/ADT/DenseMap.h:1242: bool llvm::DenseMapIterator<const llvm::Value *, llvm::StringMapEntry<llvm::Value *> *, llvm::DenseMapInfo<const llvm::Value *>, llvm::detail::DenseMapPair<const llvm::Value *, llvm::StringMapEntry<llvm::Value *> *>, false>::...

[RFE] Multiple ssh-agent support
Howdy! I've been working on a prototype that allows to do ssh-agent forward between a guest, using SPICE, and a spice client (remote-viewer/virt-viewer/spicy) The whole idea is to have something similar to "ssh -A guest", but integrated with the desktop environment. As a proof of concept I wrote a standalone ssh-agent that _unlink_ the current running agent in the guest machine and creates its socket in the same path used by the old agent. It...

KVM console?
I finally got access to some machines with more resources than the free VMware ESXi license allows which pushed me into trying kvm instead. Seems capable enough for what I need and can even import and run the existing vmdk images I already have. But, I have some questions about accessing the virt-manager console remotely for initial configuration, etc.. Normally I use freenx for remote GUI

dual head with virt-manager, kvm, debian
...host and would like to use both physical displays to show virtual displays of my guest. Is this possible? I tried setting the heads attribute in the domain xml as described here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=885806#c1 I've tried virt-managers internal viewer, virt-viewer and spicy without any indication of a second display. ...onnect clients that have been idle for > 15 minutes in the past. With the 3.0.13 version, it seems to do nothing. As in, it just keeps the user connected indefinitely. Shoutcast directory listing?
I don't see that Nullsoft can do anything about it if Icecast was modified to update the SC directory exactly emulating SC Server. We would then utilize Icecast server for all our hosting, which is much more flexible. But our customers cannot do without being listed on the popular SC directory. Currently we have about 98% SC servers and 2% Icecast. -----Original Message----- From:
