Can't compile 3.4.0 Binary on solarisx86
Hello lists I have tried to compile 3.0.4 binary on x86 versions of x86. I attached first 100 lines of config.log. It shows details of my environment. I think configuer works fine. But after I typed make command, some errors appeared. Does anyone have ideas of fix this problems? or Don't you have the instance of compiled on solaris10 OS. SAIKA Iwao bash-3.00#

intrstat prints incomplete interrupt statistics
...mplete probe] if there''s no associated device. > There''s already a bug open to address the error in the documentation. > 6284911 args to interrupt-start and interrupt-complete need more info Hmm, I noticed that, too. There''s currently a thread on yahoo''s solarisx86 mailing list, with an snv_20 user complaining about high interrupt rates (> 32000 interrupts/sec) on a w2100z: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/solarisx86/message/29841 The interrupts are most likely acpi interrupts, but "intrstat" does not report any acpi interrupt activity. This is...

Winemaker - Visual Studio 6.0 package
I am trying to get a rather large C++ program written in visual studio 6.0 to work on a linux system. Winemaker runs smoothly. However, the makefile generated by Winemaker in the root directory has all kinds of

Basic help with imports and includes
Do any of you good people have a moment to help me out with my basic Puppet language skills, I''m a little new around here and getting an error I don''t yet understand. I have an RHEL4 Puppetmaster happily controlling the permissions of /etc/sudoers on an RHEL5 and SolarisX86 client. My actual environment consists of several systems in several locations. All systems need the same amount of configuration but much of the configuration information is location specific, (DNS servers, LDAP, etc, etc). I would like to separate the classes that perform the configuration fr...

debugging 'unix password sync'
...thing (including a cold boot, which it was overdue for...), and I logged in from a Win95 client. Going through 'Settings->Passwords-> Change Other Password->Microsoft Networking', I kept getting 'incorrect password'. Okay, no problem, probably a bad chat script (it's Solarisx86 2.5.1). I looked in my log files (log.<machine>, log.smb, log.nmb), and there was no chat script debug information. I did try and put a zero-length 'old' password on Win95 to see what it would do, and all I saw was a 'change_oem_password: incorrect password length' message...

Working great with different applications (Office, SPSS, and many others), now we installed Delphi 3.0, and if students are trying to compile Delphi projects on samba home share we have big problems.
