CO 7.7.1908 Updates not getting to mirrors?
...ng
CentOS 8 out!
But(!), I don't see any updates to CO 7.7.1908 in the "updates" directory
on the mirrors I typically use. All the files date from Sept. 14th.
Is something broken?

RHEL 7.8 is out
...#39;m just curious if the CentOS team is affected by our current world
conditions, or is work-from-home modus operandi for the team?
(In other words, "when is CO 7.8.xxxx coming out?")

kpatch (live kernel patching) in CentOS 7.7?
...efore and I've missed it.
This https://access.redhat.com/solutions/2206511 says live kernel patches
will be available via yum updates as of RHEL 7.7. Is this carried over to
CentOS 7.7.1908?

Asterisk in a Centrex environment?
Does anyone know what would be involved in making
Asterisk work as a voicemail system in a Centrex
environment? We have a Centrigram voicemail system
that belongs in the Smithsonian. There are analog
lines coming into the box and a 56KB data feed from
the phone company's switch.

legend outside axes of image or other plot
...o place a legend outside the plot
frame of a graph. This would allow me to draw a legend for an image() plot.
But any legend I add is cut off outside the axes.
Is there a way of doing this? Thanks for any advice on how to make this
work (I'm using R1.5.1 with Windows 2000).

nfs stuck, don't know what processes to kill
My NFS server is up and other clients can access x. One particular client
can't. I tried to unmount the NFS share:

umount.nfs: /disk/x: device is busy
umount2: Device or resource busy

If I use df or lsof to try to figure out what process to kill, they hang. I

Try using the IP address of the nfs server. e.g:
repo --name=epel --baseurl=nfs://10.0.0.10:/path

https://blog.centos.org/2020/12/future-is-centos-stream/
The future of the CentOS Project is CentOS Stream, and over the next
year we?ll be shifting focus from CentOS Linux, the rebuild of Red Hat
Enterprise Linux (RHEL), to CentOS Stream, which tracks just ahead of a
current RHEL release. CentOS Linux 8, as a rebuild of RHEL 8, will end
at the end of 2021. CentOS Stream continues after that date, serving as
the upstream (development) branch of Red

kpatch (live kernel patching) in CentOS 7.7?
...ly, so often. That seems counter-intuitive to me.
Anyway, I again point out that the CentOS documentation should be made
clear that this functionality won't ever be coming to CentOS.
