Samba4 and SiteLinkBridges
...nment here with four sites, sites 2-4 are connected
to site 1 via vpn. No vpn tunnels between sites 2-4, so the sites 2-4
can only communicate with site 1.
Each site has it's samba4 AD DC server and they are all part of the same
domain.
Did abit of reading and found that i must use so called SiteLinks to
replicate the site objects between sites 2-4 via site 1.
Created three SiteLinks (sl12:1,2 sl13:1,3 sl14:1,4) and three
SiteLinkBridges(slb23:sl12,sl13 slb24: sl12,sl14 slb34: sl13,sl14). Had
to remove the DEFAULTSITELINK entry to reassign the sites.
So far so good, restarted all servers and...

Hub/Spoke OpenVPN can't communicate from Client A to Client B - FORWARD:REJECT:IN=tun0 OUT=tun0
Hi, I am running OpenVPN where i have one central hub VPN server, and multiple spoke VPN clients. I can ping from each client to the server and each client to computers on the subnet which the server resides (192.168.2.0/24) so it works ok there. I cannot however, ping from one client to another client. I guess the packet path would go:
clienta -> vpn -> shorewall/router -> vpn ->

Question with new Samba 4.3's Improved KCC
Hi everybody,
I'm playing with the new Improved KCC of samba 4.3.X
Here is my network's topology :
- DC : smb4dc located on Default-First-site-Name
- DC : dc110 located on PetitQuevilly
- DC : dc113 located on SaintEtienne
- DC : dc120 located on Barentin
- Etc.... (total of 15 DC)
I want smb4dc acting as a bridge head for all others
