Usage monitoring per user
Hi, There are several programs that will basically take the outputs of your scans and store the results in a database. If you size the database appropriately, then querying that database will be much quicker than querying the filesystem. But of course the results will be a little bit outdated. One such project is robinhood. https://github.com/cea-hpc/robinhood/wiki A simpler way might be to

Usage monitoring per user
Hi Is there any easy way to find usage per user in Gluster? We have 300TB storage with almost 100 million files. Running du take too much time. Are people aware of any other tool which can be used to break up storage per user? Thanks Kashif -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

OpenSSH 2.5.1 compatibility problem
...ect to my server is through SSH. A fair majority of the time I am attempting to connect to the server from a Windows box (whether at work, home, or on the road...). The software that I have used extensively in the past is a great little program called PuTTY (http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/). It supports SSH1 and SSH2 protocols. I have never had any problems in the past using these two pieces of software together. PuTTY has worked flawlessly with OpenSSH 2.2.0p1 and 2.3.0p1. However, using OpenSSH 2.5.1p1 PuTTY will no longer work. PuTTY will briefly flash a wi...

I ran back through PuTTY versions and it doesn't happen starting with 0.71, so that version fixed something that CentOS 8 triggers in the older versions. R-4.3 version list.files function could not work correctly in chinese
Dear ???, I believe you that there's a problem with list.files() and file names in Chinese. There is no need for additional proof. Unfortunately, it's impossible to fix the problem unless its source is found: https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs-cn.html Can you give me more examples of file names, _as text_, that I could _copy and paste_ into my computer in order to (hopefully) reproduce the problem here? Alternatively, can you use a debugger for programs written in C? Do you know someone who does? -- Best regards, Ivan

[seeking help in using openssh to communicate b/w unix & windows. URGENT!!!]
You might try the free SSH client, putty (from: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/). It has a command line SCP client (pscp) that will allow you to securely copy the file from Unix box, under windows. I've used it and had excellent results. Good luck, Paul "Manish K" <manish.k at db.com> wrote: Hi I got the email-id from the web site. Kindly let me...

checking for "dh_gen_key: group too small" errors
...14.04 / OpenSSH_6.6p1 Ubuntu-2ubuntu1. My question is... for what versions of OpenSSH an issue? I'd like to hide hmac-sha2-512 from the list of supported MAC's the client sends over for all the affected SSH servers (ie. similar to how PuTTY handles SSH server bugs with http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/0.58/htmldoc/Chapter4.html#config-ssh-bugs). To do so, however, I need to know what I need to look for in the identification strings. ie. if this issue was present on all versions of OpenSSH prior to 6.5 I could just look for any identification string for which substr(identification-string,...
