But when I run "rake remote_exec ACTION=setup_lighty" from the local app root it has no effect. It should prompt for a password for at least throw an error? I just get returned to the DOS prompt. Hello, Iam trying to use Shovel deployment as explained here http://nubyonrails.com/pages/shovel. Iam currently using windows as my development environment and *nix to deploy the application. I have changed all the dispatch.* files to be executable. but when I run rake remote_exec ACTION=setup_lighty it asks for my password and installs lighttpd and other stuff, but fails on task update_code.
