How to: Read Multi-filtes and sort to different files
new R user has a question:
I have several hundreds of .txt files from different monitoring sites over several years.
(1) different site has a unique name( such as : ST2.20090321.txt = Sation 2 2009 March 21 data, ST3.20090322=Station3, 2009, March 22 data).
(2) different site has different file header, but for the same site, the header is the same.
for example:
Sation 2
date time wind CO2
2009 10:30 2 3
station 3
data time solar NO
2009 10:20 4 5

grant administrator rights
Hi,
we want to give all our users all the rights on the stations, i see 2
solutions :
- on the station goto local group administrators and add everyone
- on the sation goto local group administrator annd add an LDAP group
call UA (created by us with containing all ou users)
Which way is the best in term of charge ?
Someone told to me that in the first case windows has to handle all the
users on the stations, but in the second case only one group (group UA)....

maptools/spatial analysis question
...s mapped to a postal code area. This yields pictures with discrete borders, like so:

The problem is that the size of a postal code area doesn't mean much in this context. Moreover, only a small minority of all the postal code areas has a measurement sation. Are there any ways/tools to "interpolate" the various (strategically chosen) measurement stations? I am looking for sensible ways to create plots like this:
