Junghanns QuadBRI stable?
Hi,
I have an asterisk box with a QuadBRI. I am close to make it work like I
want: Incoming calls to SIP are OK, outgoing calls are quiet working thanks
to Michael Sandee advices.
My real problem is that my * box is freezing very often when I probe qozap
(bri-stuff 0.0.2).
I have tried two distribs (Debian Kernel 2.6, Mandrake 9.1 Kernel 2.4) and
it always work for a few minutes and freezes. At present I am working on a
HP DL380. Tomorrow, I'll try to make it...

I wouldn't make a fuss about this. sarge is at least as good
as woody and much more up to date for the stuff asterisk can

Cost of IP Phones, or Isn't It Just Software?
I took a little foray into pricing out IP Phones for my home pbx
yesterday. $75-$750 seems to be quite a range, so I took a closer look.
Cisco, for example, has different models such as the 7940 and 7960 which
seem to only differ in the software. And buying a Cisco 7920 should
cost you $500 w/o a license, and $200 more with a license? It seems to
me that these prices are substantially
