Hello! I'm trying to create a two way trust between a Samba DC and a Samba NT4 domain both are 4.10.9. The issue I'm seeing is that while I can establish a one way trust from the NT4 PDC to the DC using the following commands; net rpc trustdom add sambaad thepassword net rpc trustdom establish sambaad I enter the password for PDC$ and the trust is established. Hi, As Centos 7 and Fedora defaults to chronyd [2] , should I use ntpd for some reason [3] ? I based my configurations on [1] which use ntpd ... but I thinking change for chronyd , change ntp deamons could outage the samba service and client computers ? Hello all; sorry almost the offtopic. I want to upgrade to samba-4.12.3.tar.gz on CentOS 7 and has problem installing gnutls. As said in wiki, to install samba-4.12.3 you need to install a version equal to or greater than 3.4.7 of gnutls. This (gnutls) depends on nettle and gmp. ..."root" dn and password? Is there such "root" user for Samba AD LDAP?    We have a lot of scripts based on "ldapsearch" (without authentification) and "ldapmodify" (with ldap authentification). It would be very unpleasant if we can not use the scripts with SambaAD.  Thanks, Michal

Hi, Anybody got experienced that the shared folder (in SAMBAAD domain) can't be accessible on the trusting domain (TESTHV). Background: SAMBAAD has one-way trust with TESTHV. TESTHV users can login in the SAMBAAD connected machines. Currently using Version 4.9.0rc5. It's working fine if the SAMBAAD users access with it, but users in TESTHV could not...
