Asterisk Voicemail that reacts to my AIM status
...AOL Instant Messenger (or in my case iChat) status, and, if
I'm online, plays a different voicemail message (i.e. "Peter's here")
than if I'm offline (i.e. "Sorry, Peter's not here").

How to diagnose "pops" and "clicks"?
...This isn't enough to interfere seriously with the call, and the voice
quality is otherwise "telephone quality." People I'm calling to don't
report hearing the pops and clicks on their end.
I'm looking for advice as to how to best diagnose this problem.

Dialing the Phone from OS X Address Book with AppleScript, XML-RPC, PHP and Asterisk
...mbled a system that uses AppleScript to connect, via XML-RPC,
to a web application that, in turn, connects to the Asterisk Manager
API via TPC/IP to initiate the call.
