I tried:
PUTSCRIPT "hutsefluts" {6+}
keep;
Gives the same result:
Feb 10 15:43:26 p150 dovecot[2042]: managesieve(rogier): Error: sieve:
file storage: save:
open(/home/rogier/sieve/tmp/hutsefluts_1486737806.M728733P6414.p150.sieve)

I have put a script named "std.sieve" in the sieve directory manually.
Then the GETSCRIPT command gives some more information:

Filelist caching
...CPU intensive procedure, especially for things
mirrors like FreeBSD with lots of little files.
I was wondering... is there a way to cache that filelist? Our mirrors
are updated once, or twice a day, it could speed up downloads when I
create a filelist everytime we've mirrored others.

Problems with SFTP
...workaround,
which doesn't seem to help. Any ideas I can try? Note, the reason it can't
create files is because those files would be created on a rom filesystem.
Modifying the user directory so it creates them on a RAM filesystem
doesn't work either though. Hope you can help.

Rogier

status of undelete
Months ago there was a thread here about the implementation of a
simple undelete-function (i.e: dont delete files, but move them to a
folder).
Is this this still a relevant idea or has this feature low priority ?
thanx,
peter
ps: anyone knows about a 3rd-party software (propably on nt-side) that
implements such a feature ?

Feature request.
Hi,
I get my Email from my own SMTP server on the internet using
"fetchmail". Some time ago I did the smart thing and configured
dovecot to use SSL and the letsencrypt certificate that automatically
renews.
Welllll..... a few days ago my certificate expired and the fetchmail
deamon running in the background had nowhere to complain. So I didn't
notice.
It turns out that dovecot

I suggest you embed the SNPRINTF statement here at the first.

SuperProbe and others
Hi,
Recently once again an exploit for SuperProbe was posted to the
bugtraq. That message was forwarded to linux-security and Rogier Wolff
rejected it on the basis of the author of the SuperProbe (David Wexelblatt)
comment that it was never intended to be suid.
In general, there is absolutely no reason for programs that are
supposed to be run only by root to be suid to root!
If your installation has SuperProbe suid to root, re...

compile errors
Hello there. I'm having trouble to compile flac on gentoo linux:
linux-2.6.8
gcc-3.3.4
glibc-2.3.4 nptl enabled
I would be happy if someone could help me with this error:
if ../../libtool-disable-static --mode=compile gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I.
-I. -I../.. -I../../src -I../.. -I./include -I../../include -O2
-DNDEBUG -funroll-loops -finline-functions -Wall -W -Winline

AFormat comes from the XMMS headers, maybe the version you
have is newer or older than the code currently expects.
what version of xmms to you have?

/bin/login problem
I would be surprised if someone hasn''t encountered this already, but I
haven''t found any discussion of the nature of this problem. I run RehHat
5.0. If a user makes a mistake in the login process such as the
following:
login: mistake
password: xxx
Login incorrect!
login: username
password xxxx
bash$
a ps will show, among other things,
2333 /bin/login --mistake.

Problems after having crosscompiled for XScale
...? Even executing
it from /usr/bin where ssh resides (by ./ssh) will show this error. All
binaries are in the PATH. Even gdbserver immediately on starting shows
this error message. Yet the binaries are there, and are not empty
(hexdump -C shows an ELF header).
I hope you can help me.

UK Encryption ban legislation {from: [comp.risks] RISKS DIGEST 18.95}
I think this is an issue of serious interest to many of the subscribers
of these lists; it would effectively ban a lot of security-related tools
that many of use now find indispensable, e.g. ssh, pgp.

Configuration for binding to "secure" ports?
...due to a buggy root-running daemon (such as named, which, in its
current incarnation as BIND 4 doesn''t give up root privs after binding
the port...).
After sending a draft of this message to the linux-security list, I
received a highly informative "message rejected" e-mail from Rogier
Wolff pointing out that the newest kernels in the 2.1 series have
''capabilities'' -- one of which allows binding to secure ports by
certain processes. I look forward to 2.2, which should incorporate
such features. I would upgrade to a 2.1.x kernel, but stability
reasons prohibit m...
