No, it's not part of RHEL9 , and it's built and maintained by the Kmods
SIG (see https://sigs.centos.org/kmods/) as a community project.
They were building it first for Stream 9 and later asked to also build
for/against RHEL9 kernel when it was available (see
https://pagure.io/centos-infra/issue/786)

By guestfs-building doc I need to get the package from https://people.redhat.com/~rjones/augeas/. But there is not instructions on how and where to place the package

CentOS 9 Stream on Workstation with Ver. 1 x86_64 cpu

Kmods SIG in RHEL
Hi,
Is
https://sigs.centos.org/kmods/
a part of RHEL 9?
If yes, what is the repository name?
If not, when can we expect it to be included?
Thanks

Apache mpm itk
Hi all,
the EPEL repository for CentOS7 contains httpd-itk, an apache module for
running different vhosts under specific user/group ID.
For RHEL8 I can find it only in 3rd party repos, while I misses it
entirely for RHEL9.
Is the module deprecated? Can it be re-included into EPEL?
Regards.

Hi all,
anyone with some ideas? Any explanations on why httpd-itk is absent from
both EPEL-8 an EPEL-9?
Thanks.

smbclient NT_STATUS_NTLM_BLOCKED
Hi,
I have configured my (RHEL9) standalone samba server with "ntlm auth =
disabled" because we understand that ntlm should be disabled nowadays.
However, we can no longer use smbclient (4.17) to connect to that server,
as:
session setup failed: NT_STATUS_NTLM_BLOCKED
We have also set these on the server:

EL9 says: pcp-pmie[2870]: Low random number entropy available 15.6%
Hi,
I've discovered an issue which I don't understand. On a new test install
of EL9 I saw this message in the logs:
Mar 01 08:09:18 <hostname> pcp-pmie[2870]: Low random number entropy
available 15.6%avail at beta.corp.invoca.ch
This is on a 64 core "AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 6282 SE" server but I also
got the same low entropy on an EL9 KVM guest running on a "AMD

Compilation problems with R4.4.0
Thank you!
Installing openblas and then using ./configure --without-lapack --with-blas --enable-R-shlib
..got everything working. Does this need reporting upstream as a bug in R or lapack? I'm good now, but it might help others to get this fixed.
Simon.

Gently: this is meaningless. You probably mean one of the following:
1. The SSH server implementation is required to use only cryptographic
algorithms that are FIPS-approved.
2. The SSH server

Compilation problems with R4.4.0
I'm having a strange problem compiling R4.4.0 on an AlmaLinux9 box. I've compiled previous versions OK on the same hardware/software (last was R4.3.2) but 4.4.0 is repeatedly failing.
Configuration works OK.
./configure --prefix=/bi/apps/R/4.4.0 --enable-R-shlib
R is now configured for x86_64-pc-linux-gnu

Personally I dislike `', and like '' (and ""), but I specifically
modeled the message on the standard assert() failure message on RHEL9.

Re: Can Xen boot a Linux OS already installed in a realpartition
Well, you have two options:
1) If your hardware supports VT, you can boot this in a Xen HVM domU (fully virtualized). To do this, you need to make sure that the initrd images in the Linux partition are set up correctly to support the PIIX IDE/ATA chipset and that your root and fstab entries use the correct device.
2) If you can install a Xen domU kernel into the Linux partition install, you can

[p2v PATCH 00/11] Expose virt-v2v's "-oo"; re-enable openstack
Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1792141
Let the user pass "-oo" options from the kernel cmdline and from the GUI
to virt-v2v. This is primarily useful with the OpenStack output mode,
so reenable that mode.
