TDM400p FXO module always offhook
I have a TDM400p with 3 FXS mods and 1 FXO mod. I have all set up with
what seems to be correct settings (according to digium and asterisk wiki).
As soon as I plug in my POTS line into FXO mod the line goes into offhook
state (whether I have power to the card or not). Should this happen?
When I try to call * box all I get is busy signal. I've installed stable
version, cvs version, change

Lol All I am pointing out is an experience. Its not so bad now as I know.
I am not sure about the reference to sernet as the binaries are free and sernet support is optional.
I just don't want the probs of any noob compile errors or battling with apparmor.
I mention sernet purely to say there are a lot of choices, depending on distro it can be sernet, backports or native.

Who would use Asterisk SS7?
Hello. I am new to this forum. If this issue has been discussed already,
please inform me, but my STFW have indicated that it has not.
If SS7 were available on * would it make commercial sense to use it? There
are case studies on the web (courtesy of the Death Star :->) for ISPs with
10,000+ subscriber lines showing clear cost savings in transitioning from PRI
to SS7 controlled IMT. My
