File locks when restarting smb
...to re-read the smb.conf and setting up new shares without killing all of the active connections and therefore locks?

Asking again... locking files.
I am really having a problem with my netlogon script. It is locking almost
on a daily basis. This did not happen before moving to 2.2.0. Anyone have
any ideas to help me. This is the smbstatus line showing me the lock
24912 DENY_NONE RDONLY EXCLUSIVE+BATCH
/home/samba/netlogon/syslogon.bat Wed May 9 12:11:33 2001
The other thing I noticed is the no other connections at the time

Also, you will need 'obey pam restrictions = yes'.
Let me know how you go, or if you need some help, as this is exactly the
kind of reason I added this particular functionality in the first place.

It does not announce as the local master. so all our users use our backup
logon server ( that, by the way, has the same log-output ).
