When writing to SLOG at full speed all disk IO is blocked
Hello all... I''m seeing this behaviour in an old build (89), and i just want to hear from you if there is some known bug about it. I''m aware of the "picket fencing" problem, and that ZFS is not choosing right if write to slog is better or not (thinking if we have a better throughput from disks). But i did not find anything about 100% slog activity (~115MB/s) blocks

Cannot authenticate new ldap users (unless they are in /etc/passwd too)
Hi, I migrated a PDC to use an ldap backend and am having fun with a few last issues.. Existing user accounts and machine accounts were migrated, and existing users can authenticate. Now I've added some new users and none of them can authenticate. e.g. for the user "inktec". The user can login via SSH, but not mount a share: smbclient \\\\server3\\someshare -U=inktec mypassword

Macro DialPlan
Hi All I am trying to simplify a dialplan for a few thousand users. Would what I have below work? If someone dials exten 710001 would it go through answer and then to the macro to try dialing the SIP phone thats registered on 710001 and then onto voicemail if no answer or not signed on? exten => 71XXXX,1,Answer() exten => 71XXXX,2,Macro(71macro,${EXTEN}) exten => 71XXXX,3,Hangup()

Hi I have a set of data with both quantitative and categorical predictors. After scaling of response variable, i looked for multicollinearity (VIF values) among the predictors and removed the predictors who were hinding some of the other significant predictors. I'm curious to know whether the predictors (who are not significant) while doing simple 'lm' will be involved in
