Hi all, PCP is only partially implemented: conversion out of PCP to Graphite is not implemented, but the existing code would definitely help anybody working in interfacing other tools with PCP. CentOS 7 pcp-pmda-nvidia-gpu SELinux problems
...erformance_Tuning_Guide/ch03s03s02.html and was able to view metrics about my video card using pmchart. I then played around a little with the lmsensors PMDA (but it doesn't look too useful to me - it doesn't support my sensors, and I think it's for a 2.x kernel). After not looking at PCP at all for a few days, today I tried using pmchart to look at the nVidia metrics again but they were unavailable, and after checking /var/log/messages I found SELinux complaints. After a few iterations of the suggested 'grep pmdanvidia /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M [...]', '...

EL9 says: pcp-pmie[2870]: Low random number entropy available 15.6%
Hi, I've discovered an issue which I don't understand. On a new test install of EL9 I saw this message in the logs: Mar 01 08:09:18 <hostname> pcp-pmie[2870]: Low random number entropy available 15.6%avail at beta.corp.invoca.ch This is on a 64 core "AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 6282 SE" server but I also got the same low entropy on an EL9 KVM guest running on a "AMD EPYC 7601" server. After a lot of searching the net I und...

percent correctly predicted (PCP) zeros for hurdle model
Hello all, I am using the hurdle model for fitting my count data using the pscl package which is working fine. However, I am stuck with the problem of calculating the percent correctly predicted (PCP) zeros for hurdle model. The method I am trying to use to achieve this is 'hitmiss' in the pscl package (ref: http://www.inside-r.org/packages/cran/pscl/docs/hitmiss). When I do: > hitmiss(hnegbin1) #hnegbin is the hurdle model I get the following error: Error in UseMet...

mgcv gam modeling trend variation over cases
Dear R-Helpers, I posted two days ago on testing significance of random effects in mgcv, but realize I did not make my overall purpose clear. I have a series of N short time series, where N might range from 3-10 and short means a median of 20 time points. The sample data below (PCP) has N = 4 cases with 9, 13, 16 and 16 observations over time respectively. The data set contains four variables: PID = case number, SessIDX = time (x axis), DVY = the outcome (y axis) and TX is treatment is applied = 1 or not = 0. My goal is to determine (a) is trend present in each case, (b)...

spatial simulation
...ess but I'm totally stuck on poisson (cluster) pattern. I already have a dataset with Z and C (obs=575) and I know the relationship between them. Using these 575 cases, how can I simulate a clustered process and have a dataset that has four columns: x-coor y-coor z c I know I can use rpois or pcp.sim to generate points that clustered and then use cbind to attach Z and C values. But the problem is my observations will not be spatially clustered. How can I simulate so that now Z is spatially clustered? Thanks!
