Samba with Mysql, compilation problem.
...ther linux workstation and two WinXP laptops. The sharing linux box is a debian stable branch O/S, which is my choice for a long time now. Few weeks ago, i decided to make my sparkling samba installation virtual-users aware, and i began to crawl on various websites, all explaining the smb.conf parametters to give. I figured out that i was just not able to make it run because of a main problem, the apt-get samba gave me a non mysql-powered-samba version :( So i removed the samba package from the computer, and dowloaded the debian source of it. Basic source, untared, and had a look to the debian...

Whatever I want to do with wine is displayed with a very small font in italics. I need a magnifying glass to read any text. How can I change this for larger font and normal text? John

HFSC again.
...calculated based on the formula from the link above? Or is just a way to define how the speed increase or decrease from m1 to m2 and viceversa into a periodic function (with d as the T). 2. How m1 and d behave when used in different service courves types (ls, rt and ul). 3. If i use both rt and ls parametters, is ls used for the remained bandwidth? (i guess Yes) 4. Is it ok to consider the default class as i would do with HTB? I mean, i usually make the default class in HTB very small and if i see it does pretty much traffic, then there is something wrong. In HFSC many exemples gives 10% of bandwidth t...

understanding all.equal() output: "Mean relative difference"
Dear all How should one parse all.equal() output? I'm specifically referring to the 'mean relative difference' messages. For example, > all.equal(pi, 355/113) [1] "Mean relative difference: 8.491368e-08" But I'm not sure how to understand these messages. When they're close to 0 (or 1xe-16), then it's intuitive. But when they're big, > all.equal(1, 4)

HFSC and prioritization
I''m using HFSC to limit bandwidth for our wireless customers. However, I''d also like the bandwidth prioritized based on packet type. This is what I''m trying right now, and I''d just like some input from anyone out there knowledgeable in this on whether it does what I want it to do: Eth1 -> HFSC ........|-> HFSC (User1) (Min 512 Kb, Max 1024 Kb, Burst 1536
