Because the extras repository is enabled by default, all of the servers where I have nxclient installed are showing opennx as available which will obsolete nxclient. I went ahead and upgraded on my laptop but the resulting opennx installat...

Now that Mac lion/mountain lion versions of OSX don't support the old powerpc binaries like the NX 3.5 client any more, what is the best approach to connect to freenx on Centos - the new 'nxplayer' from nomachine.com, opennx, or something else? Hi all, I'm looking for pointer for setting up VNC so that access to the system is via gdm/kdm. Yes, I know about vino, and /etc/sysconfig/vncservers but what I'm looking for is a sertup that allows me to see the *dm login screen instead of being dropped direct into a desktop. Thanks in advance

If you search the net, someone supposedly did this through wine on Redhat. When i tried to install i would instantly get a please reboot message. I tried wineboot, wineserver -k. I must have done a rm -rf ~/.wine a bunch when winetricks was getting checksum errors on the files. Also i checked the registry to make sure certain keys were not there.
