FW: Weird Samba/CIFS behavior: client hangs
Ohhhh, thanks for the link to that kernel bug.
6 months ago or so, I ran into something similar which mostly manifested as
a periodic hang with high iowait times that would resolve itself in a half
hour or so. This would mostly affect those who are constantly working off
of fileshares -- opening spread...

Problem with Hangups
Hello,
I am having an issue with hangups being handled within Asterisk. Right now, when an inbound call hits
the Asterisk box, Asterisk picks up the call just fine.
When the caller enters an extension to call, the Asterisk dials out on Zap/3 and rings the extension with
no problem. If the extension is answered, there is no problem.
If the caller hang's up before the phone is answered,

Dovecot 2.0b4 configuration issue, listen config option?
Hi,
In my 1.2 setup I have pop3 running on ip x.x.x.2 and imap on x.x.x.7
In 2.0 how do I say listen x.x.x.2:110 x.x.x.7:143 so that pop3 is not
listening on the .7 ip? I tried putting a listen = ip in the listener
section but it complained. I cant figure it out and cant seem to find
any 2.0 specific documentation, trying to search in the wiki directory
of /usr/local/share/doc/dovecot/wiki but

Exactly how do people replace include with parametrised classes?
Hi list,
Reading the thread "can a class require an other class?" it''s been
mentioned that perhaps one way forward for the Puppet language is to
phase out the include keyword in favour of parametrised classes. I''m
thinking of my Puppet and the several levels of include chaining I use
and I''m wondering how on earth that''d be possible. Maybe
