ownership & ssh
Here's another easy rsync question (I am trying to make sense of some stuff): Let's say I have this burp file, which I set the follow uid/gid: raub@kushana-13>ls -l burp -rw-r--r-- 1 nobody4 noaccess 44800 Feb 18 13:07 burp raub@kushana-14> When I move it to katri, since it does not have those uid/gid defined, it just spits them out as the appropriate numbers (that were

Migrate to Debian Etch - nogo
Hi Everyone, I have a small project going on. I'm about to migrate Redhat 7.3 to Debian Etch (smbd version 3.0.23d-2+b1). I've already managed to migrate Redhat 7.3 to Debian Sarge (smbd version 3.0.14a-) without any bigger problems. However, when I migrate to Etch I face a small problem. The last thing I want to do before I start samba is to grant my linux/samba admin, NT 'Domain

help with predict.glm, and charting with factors
...ustration and days of confusion I have finally broken down and am asking for help, which I don’t like doing, but I just can’t figure this one out on my own. I’ve conducted a laboratory experiment testing the effects of temperature and salinity on whether or not a biological event will occur (Go or NoGo). I’ve coded the factors temperature and salinity as factors for the binomial glm, and I haven’t had any trouble fitting the model and checking assumptions. I am however having trouble with the predict.glm function. I want to create a graph using my data that is similar to the one produced by th...

Setting codec on originating (calling) channel with chan_pjsip (SIP_CODEC_INBOUND equivalent)
...t; no transcoding. As far as I know, there is no working solution as of now. I discussed this problem years ago already here but unfortunately nothing usable happened so far (which I would know off). The priority is not high enough. I need a solution, too. I understand that this behavior is a nogo if you have a lot of calls because transcoding is expensive. Thanks Michael On 05.07.23 at 17:58 Michael Ulitskiy wrote: > Hello, > > Anyone? Profili Pro software needs mdb file?
...raries\ProfiliProNoPolar.mdb." The file is present at the location that it calls for but the program must need something else other than a file at that location. I searched the archives and tried the commands winetricks jet40 and winetricks mdac28 in a terminal window before running but still nogo. The archive lists a winetrick mdac25 but that just brings up an error when ran in the terminal. Any ideas? I also have the question...do you have to run the winetrick commands in a terminal every time before running the software or are they installed and good to go now? TIA

Playing with php 5.3.0
...it for production yet, I packaged and am playing with php 5.3.0 - src.rpm at http://www.clfsrpm.net/php53/ (needed epel to build) Other than the suhosin loadable module messing up pear's ability to do anything, initial tests show it working fairly well. Looks like the enchant module is a nogo on CentOS (aspell too old) but in the few hours of testing, none of my code (yet) is broken in it. There are some warnings in the log files w/ respect to squirrelmail and setting time zone (stock centos squirrelmail), I'll have to look into that, and the php src.rpm there actually has a min...
