I suggest this option, because setting an invalid shell to users have
some little collacteral effects, as the neet to explicit the shell when
you have to run script in behalf of that users (eg, su -s /bin/sh
...).

Component or plugin
...ement using before_filter.
My vision is to separate the authorize methods and even some basic
login/logout/edit/delete/list user actions & views to a component or
plugin (do not know if these are right for me).
Is there a way to use before_filter on a components action?
It would be realy neet to have some basic views in a compnent
directory and then be able to override these like you do with
scarfolding.
Any one have any sugestions?
Cheers!

How to avoid overlapping labels
Hi Remko,
thanks for your answer. but i do
not really understand how to use the commands.
if i want to use thigmophobe.labels(x,y,) do i need to identify the xy
coordinates for each point first and then manually move every point? and if
i neet to do so how to use the identify() function?
or is there any possibility to automatically place the labels in the best
position?

playlist script
...to play a station ID file every 5 songs etc.
We are currently using icedj, but this is shout based and a bit on the
unstable side, and the scripts I have seen for ices so far don't have
nearly as much functionality, streamcast etc which use libshout, while
having the web request system and a neet telnet interface don't allow us
to have timed programs etc.
Has anyone written software with this functionality in it already, or in
the process of developing something like this?
with libshout it wouldn't be difficult for us to write our own package
to do this, but thought I'd ask...

Junghanns, Germany ISDN settings
Hi all,
I've got a Junghanns QuadBRI card which I'm going to install on a system in
Germany
Anyone give me some tips on the Jumper settings? I'm guessing it's going to
be NT mode with p2p? I haven't used ISDN before.
I'm going to also put a Digium TDM400P card in there to plug the analog
phones into.
I'm just worried about the jumpers and modes.

I never used it, but I beleave that it is a job for "mantel.rtest()"
available on "ade4" package.
In fact Farrar are right, you will neet the XY coordinates. Give a look at
"Legendre & Legendre" text book.

16 bits, cast on idct function
Hi all,
Just a stupid question
The IDctSlow function on file idct.c has this line :
ip[0] = (ogg_int16_t)((_Gd + _Cd ) >> 0);
The ip[0] , _Gd and _Cd are of type ogg_int32_t
My question is:
The result of (_Gd + _Cd) can be a number with more than 16 bits ?
(yes, it can be because they are int32, but the algorithm could
guarantee something about that... I dont know...)
