browsing multiple workgroups on multiple subnets
...e a member of more than one workgroup at the same time? Looking in
browse.dat I can see all the machines in samba's workgroup and also the
other workgroups, but not the machines within.
I'm getting close, I can taste it! Can someone give me a hint as to what to
do next?

samba as client, adding to browse list

A final note, linpopup starts, but does mutter something about not finding
'smbstatus'. Not sure if that relates or not, as linpopup does successfully
find MS boxes by netbios name... presumably it uses WINS, but it could be
doing a broadcast too I guess...

What is weird about this situation (and what no one has addressed) is
why gnomba (gtk frontend for samba) will mount these shares fine but I
cannot mount them from the command line. What does gnomba do that I am
not?

AutoCAD temp file error
...but that shouldn't
matter...
Any guesses? Or even a confirmation that the problem is with Win2k and
NOT the samba box?
I should add that moving the project folder to the local drive on the
win2k box allows the command to function properly. Maybe it is a samba
issue?

2.2 release imminent.
Well, as Andrew shouted at me again this weekend it's getting
to be about that time.... :-) :-).
Yep, we're thinking we should do an official 2.2 Samba release
early next week, so if you have anything you can't live
with, now would be a good time to tell us....
