Myriam Saavedra M. Sc. Questions about maximun radius distance
Dear Mr. Baddeley
I just graduated from a Masters in Applied Mathematics on Jun19th. My thesis was about spatial distribution /a nalysis of some trees in a part of the Congo Basic Forest.
In my thesis I used your spatial package in R, and today I'm doing a more deeper study about how we choise the r distance in Function F(). I would like to
be able to understand about value of rmaxdefault as:

[RFC] Abstract Parallel IR Optimizations
...time, ...) or proposed (Tapir, IntelPIR, ...).
Our proposal seeks to introduce parallelism specific optimizations for
multiple representations while minimizing the implementation overhead.
This is done through an abstract notion of a parallel region which hides
the actual representation from the analysis and optimization passes. In
the schemata below, our current five optimizations (described in detail
here [0]) are shown on the left, the abstract parallel IR interface is
is in the middle, and the representation specific implementations is on
the right.

books about MCMC to use MCMC R packages?
Dear list users,
I need to learn about MCMC methods, and since there are several packages in
R that deal with this subject, I want to use them.
I want to buy a book (or more than one, if necessary) that satisfies the
following requirements:
- it teaches well MCMC methods;
- it is easy to implement numerically the ideas of the book, and notation
and concepts are similar to the corresponding R
