upgrading 3.6->4
greetings - I'm trying to upgrade a centos 3.6 box to version 4. I
tried to do an upgrade using yum but that failed and now the Cd
installer is not letting me upgrade either. Here's what I did:
following the howto, I tried to do the upgrade using yum. I installed
the GPG key and upgraded the centos-release and the centos-yumconf

how to gui on centos ?
hi guys,
what command will i type in to put me on the gui part of centos? this is my first time to use it. i've been using fedora before and the command was startx. what is the equivalent for centos?

Using Centos
We need to resell systems that run commercial software on Linux. We were
using Red Hat ES 3 originally.
But we later realize that we cannot redistribute RHES without paying
them huge subscription fee because of the trademark.
I came across CentOS from WBEL mailing list. This looks like a godsend
