multihost master.passwd sync
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Just wondered if anyone had any suggestions about syncing up master.passwd
files between multiple machines that didn't involve allowing root login
remotely? The users need to be able to log in remotely and own files on the
different machines.

Hello Sami,
you did not read my first post. We are talking about a multihost installation
where one host does SMTP and LDA, and the other does POP and IMAP (with
dovecot). Now we want to use dovecot-lda for the local delivery _on the SMTP
host_. So there is no need for open POP or IMAP ports and the corresponding
running services.

R multithreading skills
Hi folks,
is it possible to read more things about R behavior in multiprocessor /

Is there any distributed computation project associated to it ?

Voicemail2
...icemail2 which is an enhanced scalability
version of app_voicemail. Specifically, its features are:
* Highly improved internal architecture (maybe someone else can
actually code on it)
* Foot print for getting mailboxes from DB (for Vonage)
* Segmentable mailboxes, allowing you to truly multihost
voicemail for multiple companies
* Reads voicemail.conf only on startup and reload
I'd really like people to help bang on it by replacing VoiceMail and
VoiceMailMain in your config with VoiceMailMain2 and VoiceMail2 and try to
make sure that it all works nicely for you.
Thanks!

Psst... Top secret information: Codename Pineapple

of a larger SIP
infrastructure. Forking, branching and such is not handled, as well
as multiple
transactions at the same time.
The new channel will have configurations for "trunks", "services" and
"phones". It will
be more domain-focused to support multihosting better. It will have a
proper SIP
state machine so we can handle TCP and TLS alongside UDP. It will
have STUN
support, like the current Google talk channel. And a lot of other
changes...
Can I test this now?

correctly, it hangs up on "Will now reset" message. When I do reboot

Shared storage is one disk connected with firewire as multihost.
Writing from both nodes and everything else seem to work correctly, I

Anyone knows, what could cause this?

Centos 7 dhcpd failure to allow a 2nd network over same interal nic

Personally, I don't understand how you expect the DHCP server to decide
which scope to use when a new connection appears on the network.
DHCP discovery queries are presented from 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255, not to
a particular network's broadcast address.
I'd be interested to see what happens when one of your

...no, not another tool to solve the same
problem!" Sorry Luke! After looking more thouroughly on it, and
trying it out, I''m convinced that you have done a really good job of
addressing the shortcomings of cfengine. Right now I''m trying it out
on a single host, moving to multihost testing soon.
But before I take that step, I want to see that puppet can accomplish
some more of the tasks that I need this tool to do:
1. Security updates on a specific time of the day. I think I can do
this with:
