"weight" parameter in htb?
Hello,
I''ve been using cbq''s "weight" parameter to influence distribution of
excess bandwidth among sibling classes. Does htb offer something
similar?
So far I think that
- you either use priorities - then excess bandwidth is offered to higher
priority classes first, the rest (if any) is distributed among lower
priority classes
- or you don''t use

Re : Re: setting a number of values to NA over a data.frame.
Hi again,
Awfully sorry John, I should have been sleeping and did not see your
full post....
here is a way, unless I miss the point again :
fake<-as.data.frame(cbind(seq(1,10,by=1),c(rep(1,4),rep(0,4),rep(2,2))))
# from my previous post
# one moree column this time !
fake3<-cbind(fake,fake$V2)
index<-c(2,3)
fake3[,index][fake3[,index]==0]<-NA
not nice, but seems to do the job.
Hope this helps... this time :-)

Timeliness of precompiled binaries--R-2.2.1 still not available as RPM
R-2.2.1 is still not available for Redhat Linux as an RPM on CRAN. It
is available as an SRPM. Can someone fill me in on why it takes so long
to make RPMs available? I would be happy to help make the RPMs for el4
and el3 if such help is needed.

ROSH: Updated
I finally have a nice branch that should merge cleanly against the
master head without unnecessary cruft.
git://gnx.ath.cx/syslinux.git
The branch, 'rosh_for_hpa', contains the updates. At the moment, I've
fixed more's pagination and overflow on large screens. It also shows
some version information about the operating environment and build

Samba suddenly going nuts!
Hello,
we're running 2.2.1a on a production server. Lately, it's been giving
us troubles. Monday mordning, this moring, and 2 times more during
today, samba stopped responding to all requests from Windows (2000)
clients. This has happened once before a week ago, and once several
weeks ago. Today it seems to be getting much worse.

Complete Web Interface?
Hi all,
I was wondering, has anyone built a complete web interface for SMB servers? What I was thinking of would be something like SMB2WWW, but that would also allow the user to click command buttons to delete, upload, move, rename, etc. Permissions to the shares would be established the same way as they are done now, by asking for a username / password on restricted shares.
Essentially, I
