...alling ztdummy on a 2.6 kernel (taken from http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/index.php?page=Asterisk+timer+ztdummy ) cd /usr/src/zaptel * READ /usr/src/zaptel/README.udev and follow the steps * check modules on: /etc/sysconfig/zaptel> if you have no digium hardware comment out all modeules except ztdummy. - make linux26 - make install - Reboot to make udev changes take effect - modprobe ztdummy i dont have any digium card so i deleted all but ztdummy from /etc/modules.d/zaptel (in gentoo is not /etc/sysconfig/zaptel). all seems ok after the reboot, but when i run modprobe ztdummy...

update.packages through proxy failing
...all, my uni has recently switched to using a proxy (with password) for accessing Web pages outside the uni. I have since found that "update packages" etc no longer seem to work from R. I have tried to fix this problem in two ways:- 1) renaming internet2.dll to internet.dll in the "Modeules" folder and proceeding as usual. When I tried "update packages" from the menu in R, I got an "Rgui.exe has prodeced errors and is generating an error log" message and crash. 2) I used the following code print(Sys.putenv("HTTP_PROXY"="http://www.flinders.ed...

ztdummy on Gentoo 2.6.10 Box
Hi Everyone, I read through the list on the issues with the ztdummy driver which I need for MeetMe, but I seem to have come across a problem that I cannot seem to find an answer for. I am running Gentoo 2.6.10 on an Intel box. I have read the the wiki entries on the ztdummy and followed the instructions as they relate to the 2.6 kernel. Everything compiled great, but a modprobe ztdummy
