SIP Context from domain?
...If not is there any specifc reason/restriction that I am missing? If it is not already supported and there aren't any specific objections then I don't mind putting together a patch for it. I'm working with the last stable release and haven;t checked out CVS yet. -- Tristan 'Minty' Colgate <minty@deadweb.net> | ICQ #154577755 ----------- "I don't mean to sound bitter, cold, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out" - Bill Hicks

SIP and AGI crash...
...tually related though as I don't see any of the warning from chan_sip if I hang up during a call to the say-ani script. I don't seem to be getting a core dump, are there any known issues with AGI at the moment? shorter way of coding
Dear R users, I am using the code below to generate a fitted value of b. I have about 300 different values for for y (y1, y2, ...y300) which means I will have to write the code below 300 times to generate the 300 different fitted values for y. Is there a short way of doing that ? Many thanks in advance Mintewab library(mgcv) dat <- read.table("e:/minti's

problems using the thin plate spline method
Dear R users, I am a beginner in R trying to apply the thin plate spline method to my climate data. I used the example in R to do so, and the lines seem to run fine ( I am not getting errors) but I am not getting any output in the form of graph or anything. I got a warning message saying that 'surface extends beyond box'. Any help is much appreciated. thanks minti

What will the upgrade to 5.2 be like?
I have a few servers that I really have to build already. Got to buckle down and get it done; no more waiting for 5.2 as a 'reason' to put it off for another day. I will be building a local repository for 5.2 as soon as the ISOs are posted (well as soon as my 768Kb DSL link will allow), so what am I looking at for the 'cost' of the upgrade?

Security of ActiveX vs Java
...f marketing guff. > 4. What about corporate use of Active X controls > versus Java on a sensitive Intranet? If you absolutely trust everyone in your organization -- which is probably OK up to about fifteen people -- then ActiveX is fine. (Anyhow, rebooting regularly keeps your computer minty fresh.) If you think that somebody might install one of the numerous malicious ActiveX controls on their home page as a prank or attack, then you should reconsider. There''s another problem of ActiveX controls coming in from the Internet onto your public web site, and carrying out sensiti...

oggenc and Encoding with VBR
Apologies if this is know. But I've spent most of today Googling for a way to get this working, and to me, something is wrong here. But it might well be me. Anyway... I've been trying to record direct from the soundcard into an ogg file. I came up with rawrec -t 10 | oggenc -r -Q -q 5 - > foo.ogg which partially works. ogg123 will play it, but ogginfo reports Warning: Hole in
