Chnage of IP for the Samba PDC
We are changing the IP address of our Samba PDC this weekend
(hostname remaining the same). Can anyone confirm (or deny)
that it will not be neccessary for all PC clients to re-join
the domain.
Thanks

NT domain clients behind isdn link
...suggest a way to make this work, short of
moving the office into a different domain and setting the local samba up
as the PDC and somehow syncing the smbpasswd's.
Not really a samba question I know, but maybe someone knows some magic
that samba can do for me.
Thanks

Migrating from 1.9.19-prealpha
...ites out a lower case file like before,
but if the name is longer, samba follows Acad's instruction and writes
an upper case file name. Has anyone seen anything similar - other
software we use here (eg word, excel) seems to behave as expected.
Thanks for any leads.

If so, is there a cure?
My smb.conf is included below. Can anyone see anything in
there likely to cause the problems we are encountering?
TIA
