College course on Ruby on Rails
...I was able to
propose this and work it through the college process. I''m very excited by
what we will be able to accomplish during a full semester course. No more
spend a month just getting everything installed! Woo Hoo!
Here are some links that point to more details.

How can we compare corresponding values of x and y (first value of x exacly matches with the first value of y)?
...owId" = 4:7,
"x"=c("1_1", "2_2", "3_3", "3_3"),
"y"=c("1_1", "3_3", "2_2", "3_3")
)
How can we compare corresponding values of x and y (first value of x exacly matches with the first value of y)?
If they were not matced exactly how can we get the row id?
In this case the row ids were 5 and 6.

How to quote the special wildcard characters '*' and '?'
...exit code 75
In the mail log:
dovecot: auth: Error: Trying to iterate users, but userdbs don't support it
To be clear: the question mark is a part of the mailbox's name. Not an
attempt to use it as wildcard.
Is there a way
1. To quote the special characters
or
2. To disable wildcard matcing in the -u parameter
regards,

Running tests from another test case
I''m in the position that would be really useful for me to run in a
testcase a test belonging to another testcase.
Assuming I do not want to use modules, how could I do that?
My code would be something like this:
class MyTestCase < Test::Rails:TestCase
def myTest
matc = MyAnotherTestCase.new
end
end
The code above seems to work but when I run MyTestCase all the tests
belonging to MyAnotherTestCase are executed.
What would I need to do to execute only a single test from
MyAnotherTestCase?
Any suggestions?

Mad Rails
Hello all,
I work for a company located in Madison, WI and we''re looking at
replacing a pre-Struts J2EE ecommerce app with Rails. ''ve been
using Rails with pleasure for the last year on several supporting
applications, and I have everyone else convinced that it''s at least
worth investigating. The developer team has a few experienced Java

Samba 4 Consistent uid gid mapping across servers.
I have 3 Samba 4 Domain Controllers and 1 Member server, been running in
production for almost a year and very pleased with the results so far.
I have winbind installed and working on all of my servers and I am also
quite happy with that as well, except that the inconsistent uid and gid
mapping is starting to cause some problems for me.
I have done a fair bit of research and I think I would
